Just finished Becky Chamber's "RECORD of a SPACEBORN FEW"

This is the most intimate Space Opera I have ever read.

I just finished Richard Russo's Straight Man. If you are part of a department large enough to have internal politics, especially academic internal politics, you will find that novel hilarious.

I think I remember a cartoon of a really soft cushioned chair with the a couple of arms/hands sticking up/out like they were drowning.

I call those Black Hole chairs. Once you sit down you have a very hard time trying to get out of it.

I am reading, reluctantly, one of Ann Rand's novels. A friend lent it to me and I really want to have a fresh exposure to what she seemed to be advocating.

Now that I got my desktop running all of my preferred distributed computing projects simultaneously, I can start reading: Carl Sagan - The Demon Haunted World.

I'm into book 7 of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series now (it's 1 of the smaller books in the series at only 750pages).

Cheers.

"Catfishing on CatNet" by Naomi Kritzer.

If your "ex" is really out to get you, are you Paranoid?

YA with a mixture of moderately mature content, an AI coming out to one young adult and one VERY paranoid Mama.

Art in Minutes by Susie Hodge

Subtitle: "200 key concepts explained in an instant"

This is a high-level guide to "Art and Art History".

It sets out to give you an introduction to World Art and succeeds.
