The Times of Israel: Zelensky win makes Ukraine 1st country outside Israel with Jewish PM, president
Marvels one columnist: ‘Imagine, a pure-blooded Jew with the appearance of a Sholom Aleichem protagonist wins by a landslide in a country that glorifies Nazi criminals’

And your point is?

I don't know why must I have point about it. It's curiously only. In the reality, state policy is cardinally other business. I think, Zelensky will makes decisions that is profitable for Kolomoyskyi. And, of course, Zelensky will makes decisions that is necessary for USA. And, on a third place, possible, he will makes decisions that is necessary for Ukraine and Ukrainian people. The question is how compatible is that three policies.

Some Russian news about Ukraine, Nazis, Zelensky and France.

Voters in Ivano-Frankivsk send SOS signals.

The cause of the fire in Notre Dame de Paris was Volodymyr Zelensky, said a psychic.
Ukrainian presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky visited Paris a few days ago to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.
He stopped just 5 km away from the cathedral.
This is a warning sign from above for Macron, France and Ukraine that a such a fire might start around the world.

https://tsargrad.tv/news/notr-dam-nash-deljagin-napomnil-o-poslednem-genii-francii_194812
Notre Dame belongs to us, Russians. France helped the Nazis to gain power in Ukraine. So “Notre Dame is ours” as Russians are the last to carry of European values.
The Europeans themselves, including the French, have denounced and betrayed these values.

I guess Vasilyj Goloborodko is the one Ukrainians voted for:)
Zelenskiy has no political program, only vague slogans. Behind him stands one of Ukraine's all-rich billionaires - Ihor Kolomoiskyj who is also one of the financiers of the Azov Battalion.
And at his side both reputable experts, friends from his own successful entertainment company and people who previously worked for the Russian-supported President Viktor Yanukovych.
Strange mix...
Because Zelenskyj openly says that he know nothing about politics then the question is: Which of those who finance him or are part of his personal circle will rule him?

-----------------------------------------------------------
KIEV, April 25. /TASS/. Verkhovna Rada members adopted the law "Providing the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the official one," which enshrines its exclusive rights against the other languages in the country. This decision was backed by 278 MPs, with the minimal needed number being 226.

[...]
Co-founder of the "Opposition Platform - For Life" Yuri Boiko earlier called the specified language law "punitive." "I think that this draft law splits the society and spoils our relations with the neighbors," he stressed. The opposition politician also noted that Ukraine’s multi-national people speak 79 languages, and the current authorities are creating an atmosphere of intolerance to language diversity.
The document gained resonance in the country and abroad. So, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatovic addressed the parliamentary members, asking them to suspend the work on the draft law for the period of election and provide participation of representatives for national minorities in its development.

P.S. The provisions of the document stipulate that all citizens now have to use the Ukrainian language in all the spheres of their life, except the sphere of private communication and religious ceremonies. "Language inspectors" will monitor the execution of the law. They will be present at sessions in any state bodies, demand documents from public organizations and political parties and issue fines.

"all citizens now have to use the Ukrainian language in all the spheres of their life, "?
Really?
https://www.unian.info/politics/10530402-draft-law-on-ukrainian-language-adopted-by-278-lawmakers.html
The law defines persons who are obliged to speak the national language and use it while performing official duties. Among them are:
- leaders of the state, lawmakers;
- judges, prosecutors;
- employees of the National Bank of Ukraine;
- officers who are in military service under the contract;
- teachers, doctors of state and municipal health care institutions.
This law is not applicable to the sphere of private communication and religious ceremonies.

Tourists are standing in line to visit the abandoned Prypjat city in Ukraine. The reason is believed to be the popular HBO series Chernobyl that premiered in early May.

Some even chose to get married there already two years ago :)
Marcus Börjesson and Nina Erixon from Kungsbacka south of Gothenburg, Sweden are a couple that did that.

Well Ukraine and Russia share much of their cultures.
So there are not only Russian journalists that are killed doing their job...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_journalists_killed_in_Russia

One who perhaps should be wary is of course Graham Phillips...

The Russian national anthem is very nice.
The Ukrainian as well with the touch of blue and yellow.
So let's hear the Ukrainian one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHzHlSLhtmM
Note the ending "We will not allow others to rule in our motherland"

Italia: Stopped neo-Nazis in Turin: they treated the sale of a missile
------------------------------------------------------------
The anti-terrorism section of the Turin Digos concluded an operation this morning against three people responsible for the possession of war weapons and firearms.

The investigations began about a year ago when the police headquarters in Turin, coordinated by the Central Directorate of Prevention Police, had monitored some people linked to political movements of the ultra-right and who had fought in the Ukrainian region of Donbass against the separatists.

In the end thanks to wiretapping and stalking it was discovered that a man from Gallarate, in the province of Varese, illegally held a santabarbara; the man was also highlighted for the sale of an air-to-air missile that was then found and seized in the province of Pavia.

In addition to the missile, which has no explosive but "resettable" charge, Digos investigators seized 9 assault rifles, a submachine gun, 7 pistols, 3 shotguns, 20 bayonets, almost a thousand cartridges and many parts of weapons.

Hmm... First Italian and Swiss Neo-Nazis "who have fought in Ukraine's Donbass region against the separatists" arrested in Turin. With missiles from Qatar...
Then "Separately, a court in Genoa, Italy, jailed three men [two Italians and one Moldavian] on 3 July who were found guilty of fighting alongside the Russian-backed separatists who control a large swathe of Ukraine's Donetsk and Luhansk regions."
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-48987723
I wonder why Mikael Skillt from Sweden, former sniper in the Azov Battalion, is not in jail...

Today it's five years since separatists from eastern Ukraine with help from the 53rd Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the Russian armed forces with a BUK missile downed MH17.
298 persons from 17 countries lost their lives.

Russia and Ukraine have completed a long-awaited exchange of prisoners.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-49610107
Those freed include 24 Ukrainian sailors and - controversially - a "person of interest" over the downing of flight MH17 which killed 298 people.
The swap is hoped to ease tensions between the two neighbours.
Greeting the Ukrainians at the airport, President Volodymyr Zelensky said: "We have to do all the steps to finish this horrible war." Russia said it was glad its citizens had returned home.
