I shall begin here. The question needs to be answered. Again. I think it has been, and justly. So, can we question our mods on the boards? "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

WHO's standards should be applied? I know 'kid freiendly' applies. Who's kids? And who taught them what? If I had children, they would have a far wider mind than some others. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

WHO's standards should be applied? Just pretend you're writing for these ones and you will be fine: Hey it's kept me out of trouble so far. Also on the left of every of the thousands of posts you make is: The moderators may be contacted at seti_moderators@ssl.berkeley.edu It's always better to use that. P.S. Yes, I know that you know this. :^) |

WHO's standards should be applied? But, Mr, Kevvy........... I do not LIVE there. Never have. I do not live on a little home in the prairie. I live in a home bought and paid for by my grandparents, and then bought and paid for again with my sweat and spriit and pain. I now own it outright, by God. Only He can take it from me. Are not MY standards of what is right and wrong applicable? "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Absolutely! In your own home bought and paid for by you, you set the standard. However this forum is not owned by any one person, but is a "home" for all of us. So there are different standards and different people to set them. P.S. Unsure why you haven't tried blogging yet as depending on the policies of your blogging host you can write an unlimited amount of just about anything you like (unless it's illegal of course!) Edit: Heading home now... everyone play nice. :^p |

Get on with your whiskey, and do what you usually do on Fridays. You do not need my behavior to have or not have a nice weekend.\ I hear there is an ignore button, use it if you do not like me. If not, then shut the F up and continue to monitor my posts like the rest of Setikind. I do not suffer ignorants easily. So please do not be one. I am a soul unshackled. Love is forever, but love can be unkind. So, do not abuse the privilage of knowing me. I entrust you with my thoughts, as wayward as they may me at times. In turn, I choose you not to abuse me for sharing. Is that too much to ask? Perhaps on a public forum, but it's the only one I know. As I suspected this has developed into an insult thread. However I would suggest that if you don't know what is and is not acceptable in the public forums, refer to Mr Kevvy's first post. I will now lock this thread to prevent further insults. |
