ex, look at the UK's NHS. I've mentioned some facts about it in the recent past, but those facts seem to go directly into everybody's selective amnesia bin.

Some facts from 2013.

Why does the healthcare in the US cost more than twice than other Western OECD countries?

*A question mark after such a statement does not make it a question.

Why not. It did for me, I understood straight away that it was a question not a statement.

Perhaps formed in a way to make it look like a statement, but in the end still a question.

Different people express themselves in different ways, and definitely on these forums with many different nationalities and personalities involved comprehension can often be a problem.

Libertarians are free thinkers. Again a different political ideology.

Of course it is.

Just leaving out of your question the #3 gather of votes. Who would, of course, not be considered a Socialist.

Only 2% of The USA voting population is Socialist?

On the evidence from some of the postings here, could it be that many of the population don't know that there are more than two political groups with some fence sitting independents in the middle.

And I think your statement* "Only 2% of The USA voting population is Socialist" is probably wrong. With a basically two party system. Those on the left will normally vote for the party that is seen as the "Left Party", and vice versa.

Which leads me on to the question. Do you think that the "Tea Party" are Republicans?

*A question mark after such a statement does not make it a question.

edit] Could someone inform 45. The US needs immigrants.

One thing Trump has done is to flush the hypocrites out of their closets.

"A tad puzzled as to why they didn't debate the visit of the Saudi King or the Chinese President.
I object to both of those getting the red carpet treatment and welcomed with open arms.
Were the LBGT community asleep when the Saudi's were here? Homosexuality is punishable by death over there.
Come to think of it the BBC were very quiet too.
And where shall we even start on the Chinese? "

So, you and ex are going to continue to assert there's no such thing as a republican who is pushing for "progress" towards socialism/marxism/communism.

ok.

Just like there's no such thing as an extremist democrat. They're all centrists....

ok.

Well, there used to be more "progressive" republicans than there are today if that's what you mean? However I would identify you as a conservative, and the foundation of Romney(Obama)care is not just republican, it's conservative. So what say ye?

Edit: If the ACA is marxist to you, I'd love to see your reaction to true single-payer.

Socialism is an economic system not a form of government. Guy is convoluting the two. Why doesn't that surprise me?

If you mean an extremist democrat is a socialist then you don't understand. Democrats and Socialists are two different political ideologies.

Which Party do American Socialists vote for?

Independents.

Since Independent Libertarian Johnson did not receive any American Socialist vote.

The rest of the Independent vote was 2%.

There are only 2% of The USA that are Socialist?

@WK, guy invents meanings of words so they fit his preconceived fantasy notions.

to him a republican is not a conservative. they are Marxists and have no discernible difference from a democrat. only the most extreme tea party is conservative.

So like most of the other subjects he possibly attended, he failed "Politics 101" then.

Can't say that, he might have been on meds then.

ok.

As a republican almost certainly a conservative and supports capitalism, then by definition a republican cannot support socialism/marxism/communism.

Just like there's no such thing as an extremist democrat. They're all centrists....
