After some discussion we settled on an approach to removing drifting RFI (i.e., narrow-band but with drifting frequency). Eric Korpela's description of the algorithm is here, and my implementation of it is here.

This is probably much more computationally expensive than the other RFI algorithms. It will be interesting to see how long it takes on Atlas, and how it performs.

It is great to see new science being done. Number crunching is important but analysis is the purpose of this exercise.
