Why do i get malware and my virus makes it so i can't download Bonic?

What AV software are you using?
This is not an uncommon event, in part it is due to the way some AV software decide that a particular download is "malware", one indicator they use is the number of downloads, and other is way the software works - BOINC sets out to download both data ("good") and other applications ("bad"). The solution is to put BOINC onto your local "white list", and prevent your AV software scanning of the BOINC data folders; The default for recent windows version is c:\PrgogramData\BOINC - which is normally a hidden folder.
