Well you should try living in a small village on an island 1.Yes I agree at least 3 extra cars on the road today when I took my dad to the bank (Making a total of about 5) Oh and a whole 1 person in the bank (which only opens Mon, Wed and Fri, and not till 10 on Wed!!) 2.Well yes there was long queue in the Post Office 3 people!! and I had to wait in the chemist (pharmacy to those across the pond) for a good minute :-) 3, Ah yes, there was this lorry driver in the queue for the ferry feeding the seagulls, that is pretty risky round here. 4. See 3 5. Hmm 6. Well now they all seem to be happy here. This snap taken this very afternoon (which was grey and overcast hence the washed out look) As a footnote this will be my first Christmas away from my hometown for 20 years. PS the population of Yarmouth IOW at the last census in 2011 was 865. Compared with Croydon south London at 376,000 ID: 1837229 ·
