I looked on the website and couldn't find specific information stating GPU requirements. I ask because my GPU (GTS 250) is old and I don't know if it is still supported in this GPU project.

It has a 1.1 compute capacity with 1 GB memory. Yes, it is CUDA but I just don't know if it is still usable. For example, I was in another GPU project (Einstein) but had to stop because it no longer used my gpu.

Does anyone know if my GPU is still usable for this GPU project?

Thank you.

There are still a few GTS250s in service. The biggest issue is going to be finding a suitable driver as the most recent drivers do not have the full support that some of the older ones do.
(Also the GTS250 is very power hungry for a fairly limited performance compared to more recent GPUs, and will run very hot...)

Wait, do you mean older GTS 250 drivers (I am using Linux so it is a Linux driver) are more functional than newer drivers?

Not necessarily - I said "suitable", not "newest". There are some more recent drivers that don't support your hardware, so you would have to do a bit of research to get the right combination. Looking at the Nvidia site the driver I would look at is version 340.101 (available for both 32-bit and 64-bit Linux versions). This is probably going to be stable for at least the next twelve months.
