I have never noticed a lack of work being sent unless I'm set to exclusively process APs. The problem for me appears to be Validation Pending. I'm showing nearly 400 in that class between just 2 machines. As that category balloons my RAC plummets.

Run only the selected applications AstroPulse v7: no
SETI@home v8: yes
If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? no
It doesn't matter how they are set. Just change them. Right now one machine is set to the above while the other machine is;
Run only the selected applications AstroPulse v7: yes
SETI@home v8: yes
If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? yes

The next time I'll just swap the settings again.
It's the act of changing them that matters.

Thanks TBar, that was the trick. I had one machine down to half of its quota and was only getting a trickle of 1 or 2 tasks per request and a slew of no task are available messages. Changed AP to off, update, AP to on, update and now the requests are coming in at 14 tasks per request and I am building back up to quota. I need to get at least 10 tasks per request to stay ahead of task retirement or my cache falls.

That's what I've been doing for several weeks now in order to get work. Sometimes just changing and updating doesn't do it. If you change them back and then update, the next request will get work. Usually.

I'll be glad when it's fixed.

EDIT-
The fact that we're now getting some Arecibo VLARs appears to be exacerbating the problem.

My Linux box wasn't having any problems until about a day ago when work started to trickle again.

Now this is a bit strange, I have been reporting back work that was just sent to me minutes ago (by suspending older work) and then it fills the cache right back up again. A new twist.

My computers with 750Ti's have no problems since a trickle of work keeps them happy.

Likewise.
It's only my system with the GTX1070s that struggles to get enough work.

Anyone noticing a bit slow pages when it comes to loading?

Somewhat heavy load here at the moment, but still think I can make it out.

Centurion has stopped splitting blc tasks. None of the gbt splitters are running and only abnormal size files are available to split. The number of ready to send tasks is plumetting. So soon we can panic...

Ah.
I had noticed all of my most recent new tasks had been Arecibo.

Hopefully Eric can fire up the extra PFB splitters to help meet the demand till Centurion is sorted out again.

I have sent Eric and Jeff a request for more pfb splitters.
We shall see if either gets the message and responds.

Ready to send buffer is now empty.
So now i'll be getting "Project has no tasks available" both when there are no tasks available, and because I have to change my application setting s again. Going to make it difficult to determine when it's the second case causing the lack of work when there is a lack of work...

Large image loading and longer pages is slowing some things down. I know I can stop loading of images. I stopped signatures for this reason too.

I have a 150mbps connection on top gaming machine.

Well thank the deities for the breaks in work availability. My PSU is on its last legs, I'm seeing my monitors cut out a lot and have had two system power downs & reboots already. Still, gotta wait until Tuesday before my new PSU can come in (and so no need to order it until Monday - post deliveries, including packages aren't done here on Monday... only Tuesday -> Saturday)

Then I still have time to choose between the:
be quiet! Pure Power 10 600W CM, modular, protection: OCP, OVP, UVP, OLP/OPP, SCP and OTP, price € 94,90 + €4,95 shipping.
Cooler Master G650M, modular, protection: OCP, OVP, UVP, OLP/OPP, SCP and OTP, price € 82,90 with free shipping.
Thermaltake Smart DPS G 600W Bronze, modular, protection: OVP, OLP/OPP, SCP, price € 94,90 + €4,95 shipping.

No advice needed, I've got to make the choice. Am reading reviews now. :)

And it's over.

Edit: Or not. Just got my cache refilled.

I've managed to get about 2 dozen WUs over the last few hours. Given that a big chunk of what I have got are shorties, I expect to be out of GPU work in the next 3-5 hours, if I can keep getting the odd WU here & there. Sooner if not.

In the last 2 hours I've picked up 3 WUs on my main cruncher, and that was on the most recent Scheduler request. Yet my slower system picks up a WU here & there every 30min or so.

I'll be glad when the issue with the Scheduler issue with allocating work to various applications is finally resolved.

Last time I got any tasks after request on all my systems was just before 2400 UTC yesterday. Nothing since. One system must have had a steady diet of shorties over the last day because I'm down over 50 tasks compared to my other similar system. Only about 50 tasks left on the shorty system. That will be gone in the next couple of hours. Guess Einstein and MilkyWay will have keep the GPU's busy till Centurion comes back online.

Flipping the application settings back and forth for a few Scheduler requests has resulted in my faster machine now getting some work. However, now the slower machine is unable to get any.
