I do like the new Boinc forum. The only thing I had to do was to turn down the monitor's brightness. Very comfortable on the eyes. Any chance that could happen here? |

Any ideas if there is a way to get my kitty banner and Boincstats block to display side by side again instead of one over the other? Before the forum update, I was able to do this by putting the img lines one after the other, with no space between them. I have not changed anything, but now the forum will not do that. Meow? Any ideas if there is a way to get my kitty banner and Boincstats block to display side by side again instead of one over the other? One of the attributes that's being assigned to your images when the page is actually created is "display: block". It probably needs to be "display: inline" (which is normally the default) to get it to display the way it used to. Nothing you can change. It's up to the guy doing his Alpha testing in production. |

Any ideas if there is a way to get my kitty banner and Boincstats block to display side by side again instead of one over the other? OK....thanks for that input. Now all I can do is hope that Dr. Anderson picks up on this and is willing to correct it. Not a huge deal for me, but I originally did it to save vertical space in the forums. Meow. Any ideas if there is a way to get my kitty banner and Boincstats block to display side by side again instead of one over the other? It isn't just in signatures. When making a post it is also stacking the images instead of putting them side by side. Which doesn't sound like a huge issue. Unless you trying to post several images side by side for comparison. Then your post may become very long. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

And is it just on MY end, or does everybody else notice that the forums have more noticeable lag since the new format was introduced? Not always, but sometimes it just sits there. And is it just on MY end, or does everybody else notice that the forums have more noticeable lag since the new format was introduced? There have been a couple of times over the last couple of days where the web site as a whole has taken some time to respond. Each time I've been thinking "down we go again..." but luckily that hasn't been the case (so far). My issues with the new forums are still the almost invisible quote indicator bar (it has improved, but just a little more contrast would be nice) & the ridiculously sized post order selector boxes. Excellent. The quote bars are now visible, and the post order boxes are of a much more suitable size. Thank you. Grant Darwin NT |

The Server Status page could still use a link back to the Account page. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Also just a small thing, but on the individual team page it was selectable to display teams results in either RAC or Total Credit order. Now it just displays as Total Credit order and RAC is not selectable. |

Excellent. Thank you from me too :) This next bit is so trivial, so please feel free to ignore it. It's just I was wondering if there were any plans to address the font color choices available in the drop down box. By not being set against the new background colour, it is not reflecting what the finished effect will be once the message is posted, which then require hasty editing. Also, some of the colours themselves, may no longer be suitable choices to include in the list. I tried a few in quick combination and got the legibility of a nasty bruise in places. I was going to demonstrate the effect for you here, but forgot. |

New website is utter garbage. Takes more scrolling get where I want to go. Crap colour scheme. Bring back the old website. |

The new web page isn't too bad, but my aging eyes much prefer dark text on a white background and a bit more contrast. Pastel colours may look good for a brochure, but they're not the best for a "working" web page. T.A. |

Excuse me, but from the user point of view, where's gone "my account" page ??? walking through all menus, no that page !!!! May be because of the italian translation?? I think that if this page is not easily, and directly, reacheable, there is a big problem on this new site |
