. . Hi Kitty Man,

. . I know this will sound like a cop out, but I was intending to donate $50 AUD. Sadly I managed to blow up a MoBo and I am now facing a $600 bill to get that rig back into service :(. It is an old ASUS MoBo with a Pentium D-930 and DDR2 ram so I will need a new MoBo, processor, ram, optical drive and cooler, that is if my drives have survived. It will be a while before I can donate.

Stephen

Thanks again to Mike Bader and UniMatrixZ.
So, we are up to $670.00, with a couple of additional donations of undeclared amounts.

The kitties are happy with your responses so far.
As betreger stated, I know that the Christmas season tightens the strings for some this time of the year.
But anything is appreciated.

. . Hi Betreger,

. . Bad timing yes, but it was my own blunder. The funny thing is that after I had bought the bits and pieces to rebuild it someone suggested resetting the CMOS, which had not occurred to me. After this I found I had only trashed the system HDD, and I am now in the process of rebuilding everything on the auxilliary drive, I should have that rig back into service after the Christmas runaround. What makes it funny is I now have 80% of a whole new system . . . so now I will only have to buy a new Case/PSU and voila, a whole new rig is born. And a more productive one than any of my other units at that. Full speed ahead and damn the post chrissy bills.

Indeed it is.
But I am happy to bring it to the forefront once in a while as a request and reminder.

Thank you, Joe.

As I have said many times, the amount is not what matters.
It is the fact that you cared enough to give something.
If a fraction of our users gave even a ten spot, it would be an amazing amount.
This need not rest on the backs of just a few.

And meow.

As long as the project has the means to use them and is OK with them, that is good news!
