The challenge is in convincing people to donate cash to pay for the network, hardware, and staff funding so that we can receive workunits to our computers. Boasting about how much people have personally invested in their hardware will only challenge others to invest in their hardware due to their competitive nature. Though the project needs more computing power too, they still need assistance paying for the stuff that allows us to contribute.

Getting users to contribute more hardware isn't a bad thing, but I get your point.

Dear Mr. Korpela,
I recruit new members in my team to increase the performance. What i can i donate for seti via credit card.
A fine thing is boinc on mobile devices. Because even my wife with, and friends who have no other pc. ;-)
I wish you much success and will continue to support you.
Our team has been in existence for 10 years and has jubilee soon.
