For more than a week, my main cruncher, a Mac Pro (that faithfully crunched away for years) won't download setiathome_8.03_x86_64_apple... nor any new wu's. When I click the 'retry now' button, it shows 'downloading' then retry in X:XX:XX (project backoff 00:00:xx). My other 'puter, a Mac Pro Laptop running 10.9.2 seems happily crunching away.

Restarted the Mac Pro, 'reset' the project, everything I can think of to no avaial.

Any suggestions? Will Seti V8 not run on 10.6? I have 16g RAM so memory shouldn't be an issue.

Appreciate the help.

Downloaded the latest version of BOINC and that has cured the problem, happily crunching away now. Thanks to TBar in another part of the message boards for the help.
