Well, as of today I have reached another milestone on Seti.
Today is my 18 year anniversary of crunching here.
Been a long long road.
And the kitties are not done yet!

Well done Mark on getting to be the "ripe old age" of 18.
May I voice my personal thanks as you are one of those that kept me going a few years back when I was thinking about kicking the (SETI) ball into touch.

330000×1.25= ?
If and only if the current surge of Gbt vlar (blc162bit guppi) WUs keep coming on I'll be hitting more than or over 400 000 credit a day.
{
Titan V: 33 seconds
1080Ti : 58 seconds
1080 (*2): 77 seconds
}

A reduction of memory writes and subsequent reads in the first phase of pulse calculations has had an effect of a 25% speed upgrade in all vlar tasks.
To differentiate the good work from some development stages I have renamed the latest results to x41p_V0.93.

And yes. I know I have 2800 inconclusives. It will drop.

Petri (Paddy was I called by some Irishmen from Dublin during a teachers exchange week some years ago I enjoyed a lot.)

My source (sauce with sausages) is available to any Windows cat lover to inspect and compile as always.

I'll have to verify it by mass execution (excecute a process by a proxessor) )by me and then after that by someone else (W3Perl?) and then after that it is open source.

The latest optimisation has been concentrating with the "vlar" part of the code.

Some tasks used to take 90 seconds with my VOLTA GPU. Now they are run in under 58 seconds. Similar tasks with GTX1080 and 1080 Ti have seen an equal performance gain.

Say my love to the kitties and good night from here (Lieksa, Finland) -- even though the sun is rising again after being lingering 2 hours at the top of the trees.
