The kitties are just stopping by to congratulate all posting here on their personal achievements. What is important or notable for each individual participant may be different than some others would suspect. And, some posts on what one wishes to accomplish, but not quite there yet. Keep 'em coming, glad you are enjoying the thread. Meows....... "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Just climbed over 2,500,000 in credit, that calls for an ice cold beer. Ran alot of S@H back in the days of 2001-2003, now I'm back again and have been crunching since end of october. Feels good to be back! "SETI is probably the most important quest of our time, and it amazes me that governments and corporations are not supporting it sufficiently."- Arthur C. Clarke 2006 |

Just finished upgrading the main crunchers to X5675 hexacore 3ghz Xeons. Pretty nice CPUs for ~$70 each, and nice to drop the heat on the Z400s by replacing the 130w W3550 quads in each with 95w 5675s. The Z600s are a bit more challenging, in that the tiny CPU coolers that will fit those cases are struggling with the increase from 80w to 95w. I'd have the second Z600 in work, except I ran into Win10 licensing issues moving from the 8000. Maybe I can now get the power consumption back under 2000 kwh/mo again? Naw ... But I'm liking the ~130k rac, assuming I can keep it up ... Cheers |

Few days ago, hitting 10k RAC seemed long way from home...but decided to buy a 1050Ti, after I sold several old GPUs...& it got me from almost 4k to over 10k RAC! Would you believe that I still haven't started a game on 1050Ti?! ;) Also, switched jobs...using here card as powerful as 1050Ti...that also got some of the way, for those 8h of 5d per week I'm spending there... Where to go next? WHat to do? Now that 4M results have been hit...let's make it to 5M & then to 10M... non-profit org. Play4Life in Zagreb, Croatia, EU |

Closing in on 3,500,000 in credit, and just ordered a christmas present to myself: A Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ 8Gb card to replace my old Asus 7750 in my AMD machine. Gonna be running only GPU tasks on that machine due to the fact it only has 2 CPU cores and I suspect I need them to feed the 4 GPU tasks I plan to run on the RX 480 card. Happy crunching! Wow, first time I ever busted 150k RAC. Doubt it will hold, but fun anyway. BoincStats tells me I should bust 50M total credit (counting Seti Beta) by late on 12/29. That will be cool ... |

4,000,000 in total credit in sight :-) My i5-3570k machine with one 1060 and one 1050ti card is doing great with a RAC of 32,467 Running 1 task per card and 2 CPU tasks on that machine. And I just got a hold of an A8-6600K CPU, so going to change the A6-5400K CPU in my AMD machine so I can utilize the full potential of my new RX 480 card. Only running 2 tasks on that card at the moment due to only 2 CPU cores, still doing great with a RAC of 11,327 should be interesting to see with 3 or 4 tasks. Never thought to get the gold badge. But after installing a small GPU in my old i3-2100T machine this machine runs like hell. For vacation time a change my 2nd machine from cuda/win to openCL/win and now I got the gold badge. The gold badge starts at 18k RAC, I never thought co catch it that easy way. Secondary goal are the ranking in country and team. Regards from nothern Germany Roman SETI@home classic workunits 207,059 SETI@home classic CPU time 1,251,095 hours |

I've passed 10 million credits on seti, and first in my country (also it seems the only one active, not something to be proud of). and it has been 13 years, although I can't remember how I found out about seti@home back in 2003, back in the dial up days. |
