I am interested in data results. It would be great to have the data and work units of interesting signals stored. (It seems to me that the only data tracking we have is about user statistics).
Are there any add on programs for this?

The list with add-on software can be found here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/addons.php, best use SetiSpirit for this, as it provides information about the tasks, the SETI@home project status, workunits and credits, statistic charts and a detailed sky map.

It'll store the details about the tasks, not the actual tasks.

I use Seti Spirit and it is a wonderful add-on. The problem with add-ons is that I must stop the screensaver from doing its work so I can see the results. I enjoy watching the screensaver do its work, but I would also like to see a running tally of what it has found so far... without disturbing the program.

The information is already being tracked and displayed in the screensaver, but it is in a dynamic section that is continually being overwritten by the newest results. Often, New results are being written so fast I can't read what the Best results are.

I would suggest leaving the newest Pulse, Spike, Gaussian, Triplet information where it is but move the display of the Best Pulse, Spike, Gaussian, Triplet to a static area for continuous display. If none is detected yet, that space can remain blank.

If the issue is one of real estate and where to display work unit results, you could reduce the size of the header/title font. It is currently three times the size of the data font. Reduce the size of the separating bars, and even the progress bar. By condensing less important details, such as User Info (I know my name and Team name and only care about my total credits), the separating bar can be moved down to allow for a results display at the bottom of the Data Info panel.

I am still playing around with various customizations of the display to see if i can find one that I prefer. But the results display is the one change I would like to see.
