The current version are AstroPulse version 7 and MultiBeam version 8. The simplest solution is to remove your app_info.xml, this will cause BOINC to use the "stock" applications and get you running. Once you've started running some tasks you may consider running the optimised applications installer Richard Haselgrove has developed (have a look in one of the pinned threads in "Number Crunching" for the current link. Just removing the app_info.xml file from the C:/Programdata/BOINC/projects/setiathome.berkeley.edu/ directory won't cut it, as all the misinformation about the old applications is then still in the client_state.xml file. Last modified: 28 Aug 2016, 16:47:51 UTC Open BOINC Manager->(View->Advanced view->)Projects tab->select Seti@Home->Click Reset->Acknowledge. This will remove all old entries about files and applications from the client_state.xml file and the ..projects\setiathome.berkeley.edu\ directory. It'll reset the state of Seti to as if you've just added it. It won't lose you any old credit, or anything like that. Just the old muck that you cannot use anymore to crunch with. ID: 1813218 ·
