The last of the Ver 7 work units are home and validated yet the Version 7 validators and other servers are still running. Can we save heat and electricity and capacity and kill the processes ?

If you mean "Can we remove the v7 applications from our crunchers?", then the answer is most certainly.
As to removing the references to v7 from our stats pages - now there's a good idea, but it is probably not very high on the project team's priority list given it is the summer hols at the uni...
