For anyone opposed to letting ladybugs over-winter inside your home, might I suggest a ladybug house?

@Angela.
I think you pressed the wrong option when chosing to link to the pic.
There are two options.
Copy pic.
Copy pic link.
The second will give you the right URL adress that looks something like "https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pic.jpg"

Perhaps I should buy me a camera or a smartphone.
Walking our dog leads me to many surprises in the nature.

And I'm sure we'd love to see some of them!
Buy a camera!!

Maybe a smartphone is a better choice.
The quality of the pics is not so good but you can make videos.
Perhaps for an other thread.

It's not possible, as far as I know, to post videos to the seti threads. You would have to
upload the video somewhere else and post a link to the video. You can convert
a video to a GIF and post that, but it takes some effort to convert the video. I think there
are websites that will do that for you if you upload a clip.

I think the new digital cameras will make videos, but I'm not absolutely sure. Of course,
you can do much, much more with a smart phone.

Any photos you take, regardless of quality, are welcome here. Some of the smart
phones take very good pictures.

Many DSLRs will do video - both Nikon & Cannon are now being used by video companies as their main cameras on grounds of both cost and quality

I have a coolpix and have used video mode on it but have no idea just how long it will record for.
Pretty good camera for the money I think.
Tilt screen is a big plus for me.

Most cameras are limited to about 1 hour recording due to battery life - video recording eats batteries.

About 4 minutes if heavily compressed.
But I do think both cameras and smart phones have much more memory than that.

Saw this flower nestling in the grass and thought it might make a good photo...

I have to agree GRU you got the right touch for taking pictures.
I just got back from my morning run (scooter that is) and took some pictures but I haven't seen them on the computer.
They might be okay but no sunshine today which makes it a bit drab.

Excellent capture Gnu.

I think you (and j mercer with 'Spider Tree') have an eye for those moments in the nook.

Private and personal wonderments.

The glint of a thing that engrossed our fascination when we were young.... and can grab us still if we let ourselves notice.

Magic garden moments.

Thank you.
