They don't have menus outside, because you've got to look inside to find out what's inside.

Until you open the door there both is and isn't food/drink available.
Happy Crunching,

Was in Wales last month and paid a visit to Chirk and Pontcysyllte Viaducts.

The first photo is Chirk Viaduct and second is at Pontcysyllte.

Going to be HOT today:

Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 9 PM EDT This Evening.

Maximum heat index values, generally 106°F to 111°F (41°C to 44°C)this afternoon.
Temperatures: highs are forecast to be in the middle to upper 90s (~36) on Sunday.
Timing: heat index values will reach excessive levels during the afternoon and early evening hours.
Impacts: This multiple day excessive heat event has increased the risk for Heat-related health issues, especially for the elderly and for those with chronic health problems such as lung and heart disease.
Outlook: a frontal boundary approaching from the Northwest should arrive early in the new week bringing some relief from the oppressive heat and humidity.

Now something to cool off with

Just a few from the park.

This one was a few days ago. The contractors who maintain the parks have struggled this year to keep the grass cut. My park especially has had all sorts of different attempts, finally the got the big guns out.

Liked the way the grass came out in this pic

The growth in the park has been amazing this year with just the right amount of sun and rain so everything went mad.

This is my favourite wall in the walled garden on the 1st of May

And today

And finally I was taking some pictures of our flowering tobacco plants when this chap came towards me.

Luckily I always carry a few peanuts, which he happily accepted.

That is neat. Remind me again what type of camera you used.

Almost all the shots I post here are from my Canon Ixus 265 HS

I have a belt pouch and it goes everywhere with me.

Nice! These cameras are still way better then those in most smartphones.

Here are a few impressions from the amusement park "Prater" in Vienna:

The entrance with the famous "Riesenrad" in the back

The roller coaster "Boomerang". In the back you can see the "Pratertower", AFAIK it's the second tallest ride of this type in the world.

This is "Olympia Looping", the largest portable roller coaster in the world. It's currently located in Austria but will soon be moved to Munich, Germany for the Oktoberfest.

OK, let's see how this one looks.
It is a composite of 760 frames, shot last night (2016-08-16), starting at about 21:10
Nikon D7000, AF-Nikkor 18-105 lens, set to 18mm
Exposure 10sec, f4, iso 125 to 1250 (varied during shooting)
30 seconds interval
stacked with StarStax 0.71

(It looks as if I didn't lock the tripod properly as the Pole Star has drifted the wrong way ever so slightly.)

Nice. I've never seen a picture of snow in the desert like that.
