Clinton is going to win with supporters like this: Where is the outrage from Hillary, and The Political/Media Establishment? This, and other Anti-Trump/Pro-Hillary Thuggery. Will result, because of the disgust of The Goons on The Left. In a Trump Victory. Qay I see it: we've had supply side economics, with just slightly higher corporate taxes during the neo-liberal years. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

I suspect there are very few economists that advocate a return to demand-side for this very reason. Doh! I meant a return to supply-side. P Must read before hitting "post reply" button. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

And nobody's getting the whole truth about the Ronald Reagan administration and the Democratic Congress of the time. All Reagan really cared about. Was destroying Communism. Starting with The Soviet Union. He did hasten their inevitable collapse. Supply-side economics didn't fail. It NEVER GOT completely enacted. There was no demand-side economics prior to Keynes, and Keynes didn't start influencing US economics until FDR. The Great Depression was the result of supply-side economics. Tried and failed, abysmally. I suspect there are very few economists that advocate a return to demand-side for this very reason. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

And nobody's getting the whole truth about the Ronald Reagan administration and the Democratic Congress of the time. Right, since the democrats were in control they deserve all the credit for all the good that happened while Reagan was in office! See how blind hate works

Clinton is going to win with supporters like this: Oh, I know the truth about what went on during this time. Various friends in high (or low, depending on your point of view) places. Most people don't understand. The Democrats allowed the tax cut portion of Reagan's programs to go through, knowing it was popular and also knowing that his program would fail without the more important rest (government spending cuts) of it getting enacted therefore could be used to discredit Reagan, Republican Party, and conservatism and/or limited Government in general. They won that hand of Political Poker. Demand-side economics is a total, abject failure. Supply-side economics didn't fail. It NEVER GOT completely enacted. Reagan had the correct idea. He just didn't have the 'stones' to get it done. He COULD have, like the occasional State Governor, done it by vetoing everything that came across his desk that didn't match his program. He did not. He was too willing to compromise on principle. It is the main reason I wound up leaving the Republican Party back in the mid-late 1980's. https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power. |

unless we can have an extreme miracle Uhh... If he was in fact born in NYC, and if the rest of the requirements for 'natural born' citizen were satisfied, he would STILL have to reside in the USA for 14 years to become eligible to be President. US Constitution. Article II, Section 1, Clause 5... No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States. https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016.
