The big question is whether or not he would pull more support from the Republican's core groups with Libertarian Fiscal Conservatism... or pull more support from the Democrat's core groups with Libertarian Social Liberalism...

It may be more of a question if he can get the #nevertrump to arrive at the polls. If they stay home, it will be a D landslide across the board. If he gets them to turn out the down ticket races stay competitive but it won't have an effect on the presidential outcome. He might pull from the Bernie supporters but that is hard to tell if they would have voted otherwise.

As to the rest of the electorate I suspect he may pull about as many from each side, which might be enough to get him a smattering of electoral college votes in some small state or two.

Frankly it may actually be in the R's best interest to make sure he has a microphone at the debates so they can keep the down ticket races in play.

Sorry Sarge but You make vacuous charges as easily as djt.
Any vote for Gary Johnson, is a vote for djt.
It's simple math.

Correct.

Republicans, in The House of Representatives, may determine who will be the next President.

Their ONLY choice will be between Clinton, Trump and Johnson.

Incorrect.
Just because some readers can't look further back in a thread doesn't mean good reasons haven't been given elsewhere.

@Clyde: It is far more likely, since it does not appear Johnson or Stein will garner much support (it's getting too late) that a vote for Johnson would help Hillary and a vote for Stein would help Trump.

Ahh... So that explains why I saw (last night) a program (an op-ed program) on CNN (Clinton News Network) really pushing the Johnson ticket as the best candidate in the race.

Maybe, maybe not.
Do you agree or disagree, if Johnson can't get enough support, who it will help?

Well, that is a tough one...

Agreed.

The big question is whether or not he would pull more support from the Republican's core groups with Libertarian Fiscal Conservatism... or pull more support from the Democrat's core groups with Libertarian Social Liberalism...

The votes, on the left, that Hillary loses will likely be those that supported Bernie and many of them were millenials. While some of them will be attracted to Gary's social liberalism,if they do their research they may be turned off by his fiscal conservatism. Moreover, Gary has admitted he kind of missed the point of BLM until recently (would have to re-find a link about that). What about gay marriage? Apparently a lot of millenials that are not gay don't care to obstruct the eligibility of gays to marriage. Maybe Gary feels the same, but where would it go with the leigslators parallel to him? Where would it go with Supreme Court judges he nominates?
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

Her fainting episode earlier today.

Hillary Clinton has pneumonia, doctor says

NEW YORK — Hillary Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday, her doctor said in a statement Sunday after the Democratic nominee left a 9/11 memorial ceremony due to what her campaign said was overheating.

"Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies. On Friday, during follow up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia," her doctor, Lisa Bardack, said. "She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule. While at this morning's event, she became overheated and dehydrated. I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely."

pushing the "Intelligence Envelope" making a reference to Benazir Bhutto.

Now every one here knows that I am with out a doubt one of
the nicest, kindest, non confrontational people in all of Seti.
So just sort of help me out here by perhaps explaining to me
what part of the "Intelligence Envelope" I could be pushing.
Please don't feel intimidated or anything by what you say, I
am just an old pussy cat by nature any way. I am just sitting
here in tingly anticipation at what you may have to say.

edit:
I always look forward to a chance to learn new stuff....

Well, that is a tough one...

I can see Johnson taking votes away from BOTH Trump and Clinton (and Stein doing the same, though to a lesser extent).

The question really is both the amount of support Johnson gets, and more importantly *WHERE* (which States) he does it.

If the election without Johnson would be close enough in the Electoral College, and Johnson manages to get enough support in enough States to win a few votes in the Electoral College, then it would throw the Presidential Election into the House of Representatives for only (iirc) the third time in the history of the USA.

Furthermore, if he pulls enough of the Support from One of the two major-party candidates in certain States so that the Other one would win that State... A profound difference.

The big question is whether or not he would pull more support from the Republican's core groups with Libertarian Fiscal Conservatism... or pull more support from the Democrat's core groups with Libertarian Social Liberalism...

In other words, which would have the greater appeal... Getting the Government out of our wallets... or out of our bedrooms... Economic Freedom vs. Social Freedom.

I can not answer this question, nor I believe, can anyone else. We will just have to wait and see.

Also, the Libertarian party is the closest thing we can get to a National Unity Ticket. The people are TIRED of all the partisan bickering between the D's and the R's...

A Libertarian vote: Everyone can get something they want at the cost of something they do not want... You know... The Principle of Compromise.

#Texit

Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016.

Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power.

You can bet that the secret
service would not allow him to appear any
place in public with out all the proper
protection.

John Hinckley is on the loose and Jody Foster still hasn't married him! ;)

Trump doesn't have to wear body armor

Oh goodness, look again good sir.
The Donald is no complete idiot.
You can tell by their arm movements,
and also in how they walk with the
extra weight. You can bet that the secret
service would not allow him to appear any
place in public with out all the proper
protection. This also explains why they
appear mostly in long sleeve clothing. I
saw Mitt Stupid wearing a short sleeve dress
shirt with only his temple clothes on under
his shirt for protection. I only saw that once
while he was campaigning for office.

edit:
I have seen images of the Donald wearing body armour at weddings...

How much does her bullet proof vest weigh these days.
When I worked they made a good start in getting cumbersome
after you started adding the steel plates in the front and
the back, plus all the other hard ware that can go with
them. It all depends a lot on how exposed you want to be
to the various sorts of munitions that are out there.

edit:
Even Benazir Bhutto got caught, and she had a hardened shelter inside of her truck...

Trump doesn't have to wear body armor since he knows that all the
weapons grade "Nut Jobs" are supporting him.
