I am having trouble rebooting my RPi 3 after installing Boinc.

I am using the lastest RASPBIAN JESSIE disk image (clean install directly from www.raspberrypi.org). First, I update and upgrade the Pi. (I can reboot successfully at this point.)

Next, I install install boinc-client, then boinc.

I am not able to reboot the Pi after this install. I am not doing anything else with the install except what is listed above and certainly running no other programs.

I tried to find a way to stop running Boincmrg at startup, but was not successful.

I would appreciate your help or ideas. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I am replying to my own issue.

Expand the file system. Menu/Preferences/Raspberry Pi Configuration. The first button under System allows you to expand the file system. After a restart, you should be all set. I am not sure why the Raspberry Pi does not use the entire SD card at the start, but that is something to be mindful about.

Sorry to waste everyone's time with an issue I was able to solve approximately one hour after posting.
