Message 1813193 - Posted: 28 Aug 2016, 14:32:53 UTC - in response to Message 1813176.

Due to circumstances beyond my control I'm not going to be able to post anything for at least another day, so, it is with some regret I request that the baton be passed to KWSN who was in second place.
So, if it is OK with Sarge, he may post a picci for yo to all enjoy & caption.

That'd be fine.
Should Ipm?

To whom it may concern: The reason I have taken myself from the
Beets contest is because I have been remiss in not following up
after I have won a contest. Any person who knows me knows I just
hate it if I end up in a place where I can't meet a commitment
that I have made for myself. So I won't play the game any more,
but you all can be sure that I am enjoying your submissions as much
as I ever did when I played the game.

Well this one went by fast. It’s also a really hard call. Nearly every proposed caption could be a winner.

But guess I have to choose the top three. Soooooo

In third place is the Holy Hand Grenade with that exquisitely phrased statement:

Shocking!

Second place goes to Rob Smith for:

“For a mosquito killer I know it is a bit extreme, but....”

And the winner is: Sarge with:

"Ben Franklin ain't got NOTHING on ME, Lady LIBERTY!"

PM Sent, Take it away Sarge.

There was also an honorable mention by someone who asked not be be identified. So I guy, it was really good. Too bad everyone else missed out.

Zapped Sparky.

Or

I don't need a rolling pin.

Or

Nikola Tesla's competition.

Or

Time to crack the whip on those two candidates.

Don't you mean "Edison's competition"? *Was it not Edison that stole from the actual work of Tesla?_

(Consider this an entry, along with brief discussion.)
