Just had to re-image my machine, downloaded the latest Boinc and have been attempting to add my Seti@home ever since. Every time I try, it continually tells me 'failed to add project' is a server down? Been trying for a week now, obviously my password is working, but I did change it just to attempt to add the project...thoughts? |

First, the server is up, but "Monday is the new Tuesday", so may not be up in a couple of hours time. Second - are you trying to add the project as an existing user rather than creating a new account? You should be able to connect as an "existing user" providing you are using the correct email address and password combination. Since you re-imaged the machine, make sure you allowed BOINC again through your firewall package. boinc.exe requires internet access on TCP ports 80 and 443. If you're using a proxy, make sure that BOINC is set up to use it correctly. |
