My account currently shows 4 computers assigned to it. One of them has not been 'alive' sine 2013.

I am only using 1 computer for SETI, yet the other three appear to have tasks assigned to them. Maybe not; I may be misunderstanding what I see.

Nonetheless, is there a way to remove those older PCs? They do not run at all and have been disassembled for parts/recycling.

The simplest thing to do is do anything with them, just using them as a historical point of reference to watch how much "better" your newer computers are than your old ones.

Edit to add:
Any tasks you haven't been able to complete on your most recently retired computer will time-out and be sent to someone else to process, so there is no need to worry about those tasks, the data in them won't get lost.

Yes.
A PC entry can be deleted as soon as it doesn't have any tasks showing in its tasks list anymore.

To do so, go to your account, view computers on this account, click Tasks to check that it doesn't have any tasks in the list.
If it doesn't, go back one page, or follow your account, view computers on this account, click on Details of one of those computers, then scroll all the way to the bottom to the line Merge duplicate records of this computer and choose Delete this computer.
Do so for all computers you want to remove.

Any credit they accumulated will not be lost, that will stay counted towards the total of your account.
