Seems you found a better source. I found the picture in an ebay sale and it was called a beading and flanging tool. Beading, Flanging, Crimping and Expanding are all actions performed on the ends of pipes to allow them to seal under pressure. So I gave it to him since he got the boiler (steam pipe) and one of the functions.

No problems. Did a image search for "Hammer Indexer" and saw a picture with some missing parts. Then looked at the site that posted the picture and found the picture I posted.

It is used for forming but this one has a special use and for a particular type of (how do I say it without giving away too much)... a particular type of propulsion.
