God has a part in most everything we do.
And, certainly in the life of this most amazing kitty.

God has graced me with so many kitty moments and their lives around which I am surrounded with.

Some of you do not know the beauty of cats. I wish you could understand.

Their eyes, their love. Nothing else on the planet compares to the love of a cat. Only perhaps, the love of a child. But then, they ARE my children.
They are. They are my beloved children. Cradle to grave.

As my own blood, I do so love my cats.

Paw, cuddle, and purr.
Every night for almost 15 years. Tigger has been my companion for almost 15 years now.
And some of you wonder why I am in such distress over the coming loss of such a one?

How could I not be so stricken? WHat I DON'T quite understand is that some of you cannot quite realize what I am going through.
This is a life changing event for me, and I would appreciate some respect for that, seeing as how I am the most outspoken advocate of cats this forum has ever seen.

You don't call me the kittyman for no reason.
And when I am about to lose one of my own, I do ask for some understanding on YOUR part in my sad situation.

Tigger is still happy and holding on.
She actually just jumped up on my lap a few moments ago.
And says meow to you all////.
Might be the last time.
I hope you all appreciate that.

Tigger has just now laid herself beside me.
Tail tweaking my nose.
She is once again a very happy kitty.
You know how happy a kitty is when they show you their butt....LOL.
Finest tribute a kitty can give.

At least for one moment, I can smile.

Meow.

And Tigger is showing some amazing capacity to survive.
Kitty is NOT going down easily.

Her cancer has taken over her body completely, but not her soul.
That truly remains intact.
She is one tough kitty.

She takes her meds and gives me guff about it...LOL.

I do so love her, and she loves me.

I think that is what keeps her alive. What an amazing kitty.
I really did think it would be over by now.
Not so.
Kitty just keeps going. I cannot say for how long now.
Every day is a blessing granted by God above.
And I have been so blessed.

GO kitty, GO.

I should like to think that I have many such friends right here. Most of you have offered such kind advice and helpful words. When the time gets rough, I'll be here asking for your help.

Meow.

You have got friends here.

But that is not what I meant.

PM received and answered.
Jesus loves all of our little critters.
I am convinced that God has a special space reserved and that even though it might be a small one, our fur babies have souls too.
For so innocent they are.

Tigger is sleeping just now, but I know at this time that she will wake and kiss me again. God willing.

Meow.

We all have our place in life, and one of those tasks is to pass onward.
Hopefully, having left behind something of what we were whilst we were here.

Tigger will do so, leaving a mark on my soul that cannot ever be erased by man nor God/.

If ever there was evidence of what a simple cat can do to a man, I have offered it to you all.

And I wish my life's blessing of Tigger might be an inspiration to some.
There are THOUSANDS of Tiggers waiting in the shelters for a forever home.
Any one of whom might bring their love and affection to YOU.

I am certain that my life shall bring another one into it at some point.
I can assure you that the empty space that Tigger leaves in my heart will NOT be unfilled for very long. Life is too short for that. And kitties are soo abundant. It will probably be a bit of a struggle, as Bandit and Purrball are old kitties, and may have a time adjusting to a stranger on the bed.

The three of them were very very unusually strange after Squirrel passed.
Very intuitive, cats are. They sensed something was not right, and were very strange for months. It was like they thought I had done something to their kitty sister. And they did miss her.

Now that I recall it, Tigger would not come to bed with me for several months after Squirrel passed. Like she was afraid of me for her friend gone missing.
Yeah, cats are really smart. Self preservation and all.

Cats are very very smart animals.

It may be slightly off topic here but

Its not only cats, dogs are pack animals, if one goes missing there is a definite change in attitude, a pineing, lots of looking and sniffing around regular haunts lamp-posts etc.

My main girl gets very neady and wanty when I have lost one, but as soon as another wanders in the door her attitude changes although she does not always approve of my choices.

I did not mean Tigger.
She is still among the living.

I was referring to my lack of some same semblance of where I used to be.

Tigger is munching kibbles now. But looking a bit shabby for a tabby.

I said this before...........
I am becoming Lucy.

I am approaching the point of being unstoppable.
And Lord help you when I do.

There is much vengence I need to wreak before I stop.

You need additional information.
What happens when I reach 100 percent?
Not even I can answer that.

I am truly getting out of control now. Beyond even my ability to stop.
We are going to another level.......which I am not able to control.

Spinning out of control.................................
And yet, I smile at the concept and welcome it.

What might I be capable of?

Believe me.

Tigger is still amazing me.
Just went out to the kitchen to make something to eat.

And a few seconds later, Tigger tears down the hall like a kitty tornado and races up to her food bowl.
And finding it empty, proceeds to raise such a meowing ruckus like hell would not have it.

Girl still has her spunk.....wow.
Might be something in those mystery meds I am feeding her.

Or maybe it's just that she loves me so much that she refuses to leave my side.
That is my working theory at the moment, because the vet thought she would have passed on before now. I did too.

Every day now is a bonus round with Tigger.
Two months since her diagnosis.
A most amazing kitty.

I appreciate the kitty humor.
Helps get my mind away from other things.
And a cattoon with a kitty named Tigger.
That was special for me. Thank you.

And Tigger still says meow to you all. She is still fighting.
