"Let's plant some catnip," she said. "It'll be fun," she said.
And then the addicts moved in and the neighborhood's never been the same.

Woman says Grapevine police rescued her from this angry kitten stuck under her car

Grapevine police were part of an hour-long rescue of a very angry kitten from underneath a woman’s car on Sunday.

In a Facebook post, a woman said police rescued her from the “very angry feral kitten,” not the other way around.

According to Kimberly Dendy, whose post was shared on Grapevine police’s Facebook, someone else was trying to rescue the kitten when it got startled and ran underneath her own car.

After several months, I fed Grace a 3oz can of cat food for dinner instead of dry food, this is Her 3rd time at the bowl. The cans pictured are the amount and type that I have.

Yes, Grace can jump or get up there via the sofa/recliner.

Cat Cafés: New Purrfect Paradises for At-Risk Shelter Cats (47 PHOTOS) from across the USA

Coffee and cats? That's the name of the game with cat cafés springing up in cities and suburbs across the United States. Cat cafés, shared retail spaces between cat residents and human guests, is a trend native to Taiwan and Japan before cat cafe fever caught on in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Over 60 operating cat cafés have opened in the United States since 2016, with more vying to start their city's first cat café.

While most traditional cat cafes give pet-lonely customers a chance to cuddle cats, cafes in the U.S. also work with local shelters to foster or rehome adoptable cats. Some even sponsor paint nights or yoga sessions with cats, for those who can't keep a pet but still crave a kitty connection.

The Cat channel on Pluto Streaming.

Grace is eating canned cat food again, one 3oz can at a time.

Meanwhile I'm reconfiguring some old steel wire shelving for storage, though I have to wait to find some clips,
I bought some 1" clips a while back, but so far I can't find them, so a 5th shelf will just have to wait some.

Pic of a Wildlife crossing concept over the 101 Freeway. More info here. $60 Million by 2020 and all privately raised. They need $10 Million by June and are 1/3rd there, this is for Cougars and wildlife in general.

Yes, it's mainly for Wildlife, no human vehicles.

A newly designed concept for the Highway 101 wildlife overpass was unveiled Tuesday as officials celebrated mountain lion P-22 Day and Urban Wildlife Week. Mark Mester reports from Agoura Hills for the KTLA 5 Morning News at 11 on Oct. 23, 2018.

Cougar wiki. Bing says Raccoons are liked too, I misspelled cougars and got an entry that I would have missed had I not done so.

An adaptable, generalist species, the cougar is found in most American habitat types. It is the biggest cat in North America,[4] and the second-heaviest cat in the New World after the jaguar. Secretive and largely solitary by nature, the cougar is properly considered both nocturnal and crepuscular, although daytime sightings do occur.[5][6][7][8] The cougar is more closely related to smaller felines, including the domestic cat (subfamily Felinae), than to any species of subfamily Pantherinae,[1][9][10] of which only the jaguar is native to the Americas.

The cougar is an ambush predator that pursues a wide variety of prey. Primary food sources are ungulates, particularly deer. It also hunts species as small as insects and rodents. This cat prefers habitats with dense underbrush and rocky areas for stalking, but can also live in open areas. The cougar is territorial and survives at low population densities. Individual territory sizes depend on terrain, vegetation, and abundance of prey. While large, it is not always the apex predator in its range, yielding to the jaguar, gray wolf, American black bear, and grizzly bear. It is reclusive and mostly avoids people. Fatal attacks on humans are rare, but have recently been increasing in North America as more people enter cougar territories.

Thanks to some Weevils and Moths that came to My house, I had to get some plastic containers and in 1-2 weeks a Window for the kitchen,
the window is a Custom Sized Single Hung Dual Pane Vinyl Window Insert and I was told it would take 1-2 weeks to get here and be installed, so no pics, sorry.

Each is just about able to hold a 13lb bag of cat food, Purina Naturals Original type.

2-Weevil proof Snap Lock and air tight 2L Spaghetti storage containers and a 5 gallon bottle of water for Emergencies when the Water Wells
get shut down for maintenance or when the Park loses power for some reason like having a Power Pole replaced.

Dozens of cat mummies unearthed in ancient Egyptian tomb

At an excavation of a pharaoh's 4,500-year-old pyramid complex, Egyptian archaeologists discovered dozens of mummified cats — in addition to 100 ornate cat statues.

Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Dr. Khaled El-Enany announced the ancient cat artifacts on Nov. 10, and the Ministry took to Twitter to share images of the long-deceased felines, wrapped in ribbons of cloth.

Ancient Egyptians may not have worshiped their cats, but there's ample evidence that they viewed the small mammals as divine.

Cat tries to catch fish stuck in frozen lake
Footage from Shenyang, China, shows a cat desperately trying to catch a fish in a frozen lake, and not understanding the concept of “solid ice.” While the feline didn’t catch its meal, it did learn a valuable lesson about life being cruel.
