Cute: kitty slips and slides on icy road
https://www.accuweather.com/en/videos/animals/cute-kitty-slips-and-slides-on-icy-road/jkaxy0zte6zo-dttk4ahe5570cgdzyzl

Another story about a man with a good heart...............
Kitten frozen to road gets a second chance at life thanks to an attentive driver.
Why this obviously domesticated kitten was abandoned there in the 1rst place is beyond me. Keep the unsupervised kitties indoors !

Feline fanatics, we found the purrfect board game for you.
There Is A Monopoly For Cat Lovers And Of Course It’s Called Cat-Opoly
Brace yourself, because there is now a cat version of Monopoly, aptly named “Cat-Opoly.” Although it’s not officially licensed by the makers of Monopoly, Cat-Opoly uses the same Monopoly format, but turns it into a cat lover’s paradise (as the description says, it has “some cat-astrophic twists”).

Everything in the traditional game has become cat-themed—and we mean everything. The tokens players can use include a milk bottle, mouse, sardines, cat food, fish and a ball of yarn; instead of properties and railroads, players can buy cat breeds such as the Tonkinese, the Ragdoll, the Abyssinian, the Sphinx or the Maine Coon. You may have to pay dog tax to get past the neighborhood bully, a spike-collared bulldog, and you might fall in the water and be out for three turns

EXCERPTS FROM A CAT'S DAILY DIARY:
Day 183 of My Captivity: My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture.

Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant. Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded; must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair, must try this on their bed.

Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in an attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was. Hmmm, not working according to plan.

There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary confinement throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the food. More importantly, I overheard that my confinement was due to my power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.

I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The bird, on the other hand, has got to be an informant, and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room, his safety is assured.

But I can wait, it is only a matter of time .....

Bobcat 1 - Rattlesnake 0
Arizona bobcat's 'surreal' battle with rattlesnake caught on camera
Arizona real estate agent Laura Lucky was not expecting to see a fight between two predators when recently showing a California couple a home in Scottsdale.

In a video of the vicious battle, posted by Lucky on Tuesday, a hungry bobcat is seen attacking a rattlesnake. Lucky told Fox10 the rattler bit the bobcat shortly before she started recording, but that didn't stop the feline from pursuing its next meal.

“The rattlesnake had come up and bit the bobcat on the lip. The cat flew. It was very surreal,” she told Fox10.

In an interview with Fox News on Friday, Lucky said she had “never seen anything quite like that before,” adding that the state lived up to its “Wild West stereotype” in the video

How Old is My Cat in Cat Years?
Discover Your Cats' Normal Life Span, and Their Age in Human Years
It's a known cat fact that cats develop and age rapidly in a short period of time. While we may wish that our kittens and adult cats could live as long as we do, cats develop differently than humans. For example, kittens often develop to the age of a 15-year-old human child in just the first year of their lives, while adult cats are in the prime of their life at 32-years-old in human years, which is only four years young!

Be very careful when choosing your kittens.................
Bobcats mistaken for domestic kittens brought into Texas home.
"The bobcats were fed milk from pet-feeding bottles, but those who took them in reportedly realized something was wrong when the hungry animals tore the bottles apart and bit them."
