I sent a message to the moderator to please unlock the thread so I can post photos. Ms. Angela: YOU ROCK! and thank you for doing that :)

Here's a few photos for you guys on this build. NOTE: I still need two more GPUs and lighting, but here is Prometheus as she stands currently ;)

There's room in the front skirt for one more pictured in the bottom of this photo, and the other side of the tower matches with another skirt. Plenty of ventilation opportunities in this Corsair 900D. :) ....Now if I could only get the Consumers Energy bill to cooperate I could run both rigs 24/7, hehe. Oh, the life of a cruncher!

Going to stick with the original plan with two more 980Tis. Technology always moves faster than the cash flow, hehe. This rig was mad with your guiding hand, Zalster. Couldn't have launched without your help. (1/31/16)...Also: My birthday; the launch was rushed on purpose.

actually there's plenty of space for radiators, but with closed loop cooling the lengths of the hoses can be limiting

Nice PC there Akio, Me I just within the last two weeks assembled an Asus Rampage IV Extreme motherboard(Bios 4901), i7 3820 cpu, 16GB ram(2*8GB 1866MHz Corsair Vengeance Dimms), a 1500w Silverstone ST1500 psu and arguably the fastest AIO cooled 580 gpu, the PNY LC GTX580(other 580 cards to follow later), in an AZZA 9000B case, it's named Pegasus.

Currently I do 4 wus on the i7 3820 3.81GHz cpu(turbo mode) and 2 on the gpu @ 857MHz, Idle temps for PNY is currently 36C, cpu 33-37C, cpu is cooled by an Alphacool Eisberg 240 cpu cooler, yep I'm fully water cooled here.

Sorry I didn't think of taking a pic of the guts of Pegasus, as assembled.

I also have a few other motherboards, in various states of construction, an untested EVGA P55 FTW(Galactica), w/an X3480 3.06GHz cpu and 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1333MHz ram(4GB seen in the X79 Dark Bios), plus two others that are tested, an Asus Rampage III Extreme(totally custom water cooled, i7 940 cpu and 4-GTX590 cards) Name: Mars, and an EVGA X79 Dark w/an i7 3820 cpu(this EVGA has no case currently(Bios 2.13 compatible with all 4xxx cpus as is 4901 on RIVE), or much else, Name: Athena) I need to test a cooler Master Glacer R1(Plasticizer issue on R1 tubing, out of warranty here, bought months back) and a used Alphacool Eisberg 240(same as the Glacer R1), a 500GB WD Scorpio Black 2.5" hdd(I have 2, plus a 250GB Velociraptor), doing anything here is a slow process, right now I'm hampered by no Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Paste(I think), though considering what I have bought in the past, something could show up, since losing stuff is easy, finding stuff in boxes is a chore, assembling just takes energy, which isn't always ready to be found, I'm not as light as I'd like.

EVGA X79 Dark

Asus Rampage IV Extreme

Oh and the Cat? That's Grace, an 8yr old Maine Coon cat, She supervises and such. She's a jumper, like to watch flowing water, and to be around Me.

I wish I had a 980Ti, in a year I might have a 970 or two, maybe.

Hey, Akio, just came across this thread, and wanted to let you know that I too have a 980ti in my main system, as well as a couple 670's, primarily for crunching. I just last night ordered a EVGA 1080 FTW card off of their website before they were sold out, for about the exact same as I paid for the ti, so if it is a budgetary thing, and you can afford more of the 980s at current prices, you can also afford the 1080s. That is, if you want to mix technologies in one box, that would be a valid question you'd need to answer for yourself. Nice build, though!
