Hi The Seti@Home servers were down one or two days ago. During that time my Boinc client finished two tasks (one Seti@Home v.8 v.8.00 task and one AstroPulse v.7 v.7.09 task). Since the servers were down, the finished tasks waited for some time to be sent, but around 24 hours ago they were sent. However, when I check my status (account) and take a look at my tasks, the two finished and sent tasks still appear as "In Progress" (not received and vaiting for validation or anythng like that). Furthermore, I have not received any new tasks from Seti@home since then. Is this because they are still working on the servers, so the sent tasks just not have been registered yet, or is the problem bigger than that? In other words: Should I worry? Greetings from Denmark, Jakob |

Until the "replica" server is back on line and synchronised with the main server the displayed status of tasks and our computers will not be accurate. It is quite probable that this will not happen until after today's scheduled period of maintenance. Also the tasks need to be reported in order to become finished. Then the uploaded result or results are becoming known to this web-server and the finished results become available for most people to see. |
