I'm pretty sure that in the past when running this project on windows there were graphics.

When I go to tasks and show graphics, nothing happens. I've googled this issue and not managed to resolve it. The only solution I found was to disable GPU. I did that and still have no graphics.

It would be a shame to not see them anymore. I used to love watching the graphics as tasks were run.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you look in the BOINC data directory and follow into the setiathome.berkeley.edu directory, do you have a graphics application there with about the same name as the science application's binary? If you do, you ought to be able to see the graphics, but I think you require X for that.

If you do not have a graphics application, then the stock Linux app didn't come with one.

I'm quite new to linux. Had a browse of the directories, can't access most of them don't have permissions to do so. From what I can see though it does appear that there aren't any. Massively disappointed. That was half the fun of running boinc with seti@home for me. It actually felt like I was doing something.

Oh well, not the end of the world. Still important work, so I guess i'll entertain myself some other way while it crunches in the background.

Thanks for the reply.
