I'm pretty sure that in the past when running this project on windows there were graphics. When I go to tasks and show graphics, nothing happens. I've googled this issue and not managed to resolve it. The only solution I found was to disable GPU. I did that and still have no graphics. It would be a shame to not see them anymore. I used to love watching the graphics as tasks were run. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

When you look in the BOINC data directory and follow into the setiathome.berkeley.edu directory, do you have a graphics application there with about the same name as the science application's binary? If you do, you ought to be able to see the graphics, but I think you require X for that. If you do not have a graphics application, then the stock Linux app didn't come with one. |

I'm quite new to linux. Had a browse of the directories, can't access most of them don't have permissions to do so. From what I can see though it does appear that there aren't any. Massively disappointed. That was half the fun of running boinc with seti@home for me. It actually felt like I was doing something. Oh well, not the end of the world. Still important work, so I guess i'll entertain myself some other way while it crunches in the background. Thanks for the reply. |
