I have not been able to collect any new tasks since Jan 8th, this is what is in the Boinc event log

Can anybody advise what the issue is. I am running on Ubuntu Linux with Nvidia graphics card, Boinc version 7.6.6 64bit.

Seti has changed to version 8 of its science applications. Version 7 is no longer producing work. Since you're using an anonymous platform application, you have to update this application yourself, either by compiling version 8 Seti, or when the application was gotten from a third party, wait for them to compile a version of that application.

You can also get rid of the app_info.xml file, then restart BOINC, then reset the project. Then BOINC will download stock science applications, but these are for the moment still only available for the CPU. GPU applications are being worked on, but no telling how long that takes.

You cannot adapt your app_info.xml file to run version 8 tasks with version 7 applications, because the science code was changed to improve the Gaussian fitting routines. If you shrug and think your version 7 apps can perfectly fine run version 8 work and you're found out, your computer(s) will be blacklisted.
