Are you suggesting that Oppenheimer did not
invent the bomb in an hour and a half?

:):)

But they said the movie was based on a true story....

You could tell they were all related,
they all had the same spot pattern.

We don't have many of those around here, and the ones we do have are about an
hour away by car. Also, my chronic fatigue keeps me from doing much of anything
away from home. Damn it.

It was just an idea, anyway if just one lurker reads it and goes and does some voluntary work it was worth suggesting it:-)

Since we're talking about vet bills I'll take the opportunity to repost my
request for assistance with my vet bill for Sissy, who got parvo, was
treated, hospitalized, and then passed away, and for Sonny, who got parvo, was
treated, and recovered immediately.

I'm still in need of some help. Bill was $1500. I've raised $650.

Thanks to all of you for caring. Thank you to all who have donated (and to
those who want to but can't afford it.)

For those that don't like GSD's http://www.holidogtimes.com/21-reasons-why-you-should-never-adopt-a-german-shepherd/

Brilliant.

I would love to have a GSD.

If you have spare time on your hands think about voluntary work with a rescue -rehoming charity, most places are always looking for people for doing the basics ie walking grooming etc, from that there is usually the opportunity to either short term foster for younger dogs or homecare for older dogs, depending on the charity this can at times be done with medical and other types of assistance.

Actually Opossums are South American originally.

Well we've got zillions of them in North America (as I'm sure you know).

David posted this on my Facebook page.

And then someone pointed out that actually possums are Australian while opossums are North American, different critters.

It's still a very cute picture and idea.

Lets see I had a Big Black Male cat, a short haired cat, My Mom named Him Baby, He was mostly blind, and at 11yrs old He could not walk across a slick floor anymore, He'd do the splits on His rear legs, My Brother and I was told He had hip problems, probably congenital, the Vet said the bill would be $900 to fix this or I could take Him home and watch Him suffer or My Brother could spend $100 to put him to sleep, I didn't have a lot of room to maneuver, I was in a box moneywise, as I didn't have any income yet, so My Brother paid to have Him put to sleep, since He didn't have the extra $800, I'd raised this cat from a kitten, I'd gotten rid of both internal and external parasites, but then I'd been in better shape physically and financially and if someone does not understand this, they can stuff it where the sun don't shine, don't be Judgemental, lest thee be Judged.
