In the last 3 or 4 days my work units have gone from over 6000 to 3600. I notice my tasks are now including Version 8. Is Version 8 this much slower? I am running an i7 processor with the current version of Windows 10.

Currently V8 is CPU only, the app for GPU is still bring tested.

This means that other than a few stray V7 units and the occasional Astropulse, your GPU is not being used.

Hence the fall in your RAC.

Everyone is affected the same.

GPU V8 is being tested at Beta. Hopefully it will be on main "soon".
