Guns needed in Rigby, Idaho.

So... How did a young child come to be walking into school with a loaded gun?...

Guns are very much not toys...

Gun violence is certainly on the rise over there. :-(

Mass shooting as bodies found inside and outside Ohio flat.

Will this madness ever end?

... Will this madness ever end?

With Texan moves such as this:

Texas to allow unlicensed carrying of handguns
wrote:
Texas legislators have passed a bill which would allow most people to carry concealed handguns without a permit.

Current state rules require those carrying handguns to have a licence, training and background checks.

But Texas's Republican-run senate has voted to drop the restrictions...

Have those Texan Republicans been a-playin' too many a them video game things? Does them forgot no second chance lives in da real world?...!

Can the madness end?!

Change of politics and a change of culture are both needed for the better well being of all!

Texan madness!

When I read of things like this why do I think about a Cummins cartoon dating back to the height of the "troubles" in Northern Ireland.
Sorry I can't find a copy on line just now, but I will keep looking.....

I do wonder if there is a 'game' being made of throwing in more and more weapons and of 'outside actors' throwing in a perception of ever more dissent so as to foment another civil war?

Also, is this all a game of bagging extra sales for the guns industry??

Additionally so for the medical industry to charge extra for patching up the death defying holes?

And finally additionally for the funeral industry for their knock-on increased trade?...

Guns in the USA...

In summary, there is quite a tangled deadly mess to unravel:

The repeated story there is that contrary to widely held perception (and very profitable Marketing?), owning a gun does not offer any 'protection'.

There are other far far better and non-deadly ways to gain peace and security and prosperity for society.

How can positive progress be made regardless of the politics and the NRA?
