Meanwhile over in Western Australia firearms will become even tighter.

Mental health checks for WA's gun owners to become mandatory under changes to firearms laws.

Anyone buying a gun in Western Australia will have to undergo mandatory and ongoing mental health checks, as part of a complete overhaul of the state's 50-year-old firearms legislation.

The changes are designed to create some of the toughest gun laws in the country.

They are occurring separately to any potential national gun register and will make WA the first state or territory requiring specific, legislated and recurring mental health checks for gun owners.

Twenty people died from gunshot wounds in the state last year, and Police Minister Paul Papalia said mental health issues were involved in at least half of those deaths.

He hoped the changes would help reduce murders, gun-related family and domestic violence, attacks on police and suicides....
Yet no howls of outrage are being heard from there, though some maybe heard from that terrorist group called the NRA (but nobody here cares about those murderous nutters).

The 6yr old boy who shot his teacher looks to have some very serious behavioral issues.

Boy who shot teacher allegedly tried to choke another.

I wonder if his mum bought the gun to protect herself from him.

Michigan State University shooting: Three dead after gunman opens fire.

Rather sad photo from this:

The "Oxford Strong" shirt is being worn by a survivor of the Oxford high school shooting. This is their second mass school shooting in two years.

How your state rates on the insanity scale.

And it's no surprise who came in 1st and 2nd places.

Hungry thief:
Armed robber stayed at crime scene to eat victim’s fried chicken, prosecutors say
A Chicago man is facing a bucket of felony charges after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint and then staying at the scene to eat the victim’s takeout fried chicken.

Chicago police arrived at the robbery scene within minutes and allegedly found James Taylor, 20, still there, enjoying the victim’s delicious fried chicken.

Officials said the victim, 35, parked in front of his home in the 4500 block of South Calumet around 1:30 a.m. Saturday and started to head toward his residence with his piping hot yardbird.
