Survivors of the fatal mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, have filed a $27 billion class action lawsuit against multiple law enforcement agencies in Texas, according to court documents.

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in federal court in Austin, names the city, the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District, the school district’s police department, the Uvalde Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety and a number of persons who are members or former members of the agencies listed as defendants.

Alex Jones files for bankruptcy after Sandy Hook verdict

Jones still faces a third defamation trial over the Sandy Hook shooting...

Wyoming Politician Nina Webber Charged with Reckless Endangerment in Hunting Incident.

The Park County Sheriff's Office charged two-time state representative candidate Nina Webber with misdemeanor reckless endangerment after she shot in the direction of a home on Nov. 30, the Powell Tribune reports. The incident occurred during an elk hunt near Wapiti, Wyoming. It involved multiple unnamed hunters and Webber, who allegedly fired multiple shots toward a nearby highway while shooting at a herd of elk on private land. Nearby Trout Brook Ranch owner Cory Williams and his wife were outside at the time, and they said they had to hide behind their vehicles as bullets flew overhead....

...The property where the group was hunting is privately owned by James Montgomery, and it's known by locals as a major pinch point for elk, according to Big Horn Radio. Located between the river and the highway, the 96-acre tract is surrounded by farms and residential properties.

When Indonesian security forces needed new weaponry, a high-level executive at America’s largest firearms exporter saw an opportunity to personally enrich himself using an international network of relatives and associates to launder millions in ill-gotten gains.

That’s according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by The Daily Beast, which reveals Amaro Goncalves, a vice president of global defense sales at Sig Sauer’s U.S. headquarters in Seabrook, New Hampshire, came under investigation for surreptitiously overbilling the Indonesian police, military, and intelligence services by up to 600 percent over several years.

The 36-page affidavit, which was filed in 2020 but quietly unsealed on Thursday, claims Goncalves used the illicit funds to pay for, among other things, one child’s tuition at Babson College, various relatives’ credit card bills, and his niece’s six-figure wedding at a swanky seaside resort in New Hampshire.....

....For more than a year, the feds say Goncalves took advantage of the intense international interest in the 9mm semi-automatic P320 to dupe his Indonesian buyers into vastly overpaying for the pistol. Each one was worth about $350, but Goncalves jacked up the price to $1,650 per handgun, according to the affidavit....
