Gary you and I know banning them in one state is useless Actually in our case our Federal Gov over ruled our States for uniformed firearm laws country wide, the States just have to enforce those laws without question. I know Gary, it's something that a lot of you people over there could never understand because it's so...., Alien? ;-) Cheers. |

Gary 20 years no massacres so it does work pity you can't see that Anybody taking bets on when the next one will occur . Think i'll have a punt and put $20 on it happening in less than 3 weeks and $50 on the next one is a higher death rate any takers out there Now there's a idea set up a online bookmakers site and take bets on when , how many die , how many cops get killed weather there kids or Adults and even if it's at another school , McDonalds or a shopping centre or another night club |

How Terrorism Suspects Buy Guns — and How They Still Could, Even With a Ban http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/06/14/us/gun-purchase-ban-for-suspected-terrorists.html According to a study by the Government Accountability Office using data collected by the F.B.I., the vast majority of those on the watchlist who attempted to buy a gun from 2004 to 2015 were allowed to proceed, because they were not stopped by a disqualifying factor like a history of criminal or mental health problems. Even if a law closing the terror gap were passed, suspected or known terrorists could still buy guns from a private seller in most states. http://edition.cnn.com/2016/06/14/politics/terrorist-watch-list-91-percent-approved-guns/index.html |

Gary you and I know banning them in one state is useless Yes it is alien, and forbidden ... "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." So here the Federal Government can't rule over or dictate to the states. |

I know Gary, it's something that a lot of you people over there could never understand because it's so...., Alien? ;-) One of your great strengths Wiggo. Alien, to any people not operating on common sense. Can you imagine making laws that actually save the lives of citizens eh? Very alien indeed. |

Now there's a idea set up a online bookmakers site and take bets on when , how many die , how many cops get killed weather there kids or Adults and even if it's at another school , McDonalds or a shopping centre or another night club This statement is not really meant as a joke . I was hoping some would work out why I made it .I was not trying to be disrespectful of the dead how ever that may be how it has been interpreted .I can see it happening in the not to distant future . And if it does then the massacres will increase as we will see the same thing as what we see in some sports , Match fixing . There will be people who will offer a person whom is terminally ill and poor a lot of money so they can make a killing with the bookmakers and these people will take the money for possibly there family's sake and actually go out and kill . Please this is the chance for America to do something as I'm shore you all are disgusted with what happened . I do fear thou if you don't it will happen It took a very simular event here to shock some cents into people and state government into doing something so please take this opportunity and just bann the weapon of choice for mass murder and don't let the above statement happen otherwise it will at some point not that far away . Laws in your country won't stop a bookie from setting up in another country and I am surprised it has not already occurred . |

Now there's a idea set up a online bookmakers site and take bets on when , how many die , how many cops get killed weather there kids or Adults and even if it's at another school , McDonalds or a shopping centre or another night club If gun control laws work and can guarantee everyone's safety, how did that British MP (Jo Cox, Birstall (Labour)) manage to get herself shot? http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/live-jo-cox-shot-birstall-8207676 Answer: They don't work and can't guarantee everyone's safety. How is it then that many of you all here are demanding that the American People give up their primary means of self-defense? Get knotted. |

-[ snip ]--[ snip ]- Greetings, Because... If we were to give up our primary means of self-defense, our country would be ripe for invasion. And how would we defend THAT? Our military is elsewhere on this planet (for which I do not agree with). A few months ago I posted a link that showed that GB's ban on guns DOES NOT WORK. Their crime rate sky-rocketed. But nobody pays attention to statistics, they just want to bash our country. Keep on BOINCing...! :) CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L. Because... You see everywhere but America the media is the state. So when some they see some media tripe they assume that is the state position, not completely made up tripe such as the US media (entertainment companies) put out for the sole purpose to sell adverts. |

A few months ago I posted a link that showed that GB's ban on guns DOES NOT WORK. Their crime rate sky-rocketed. Gun bans doesn't work because criminals get guns anyway. Here in Europe there is now a LOT of illegal weapons coming from the countries that had war and are at a war such as Bosnia, Serbia, Ukraine and Russia. Those weapons are widely illegally sold in countries like Sweden, Norway, Finland and Britain. No wonder that homicide rates are increasing. But legal weapons are not the cause of higher homecide rates. And countries in northern Europe have many weapons per capita. |

Because... You know what? I am not bashing anyone. I'm not the ones that say the other countries and their people are stupid like a certain individual here. So jump down off your high horse and quit bashing me just to get you jollies. CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L. The truth hurts doesn't it. Regardless of country, with all weapons, the time comes when they get used, military or civil. As seen here in the UK just a short time ago. AS MK states, there is no guarantee of safety whatsoever. |

It is not just gun laws, here in the Great White North we have always had more guns per person than that lot to the south of us. We have never had the kind of destruction or decimation found in America. We all think it is either the con' perpetrated by the masters of those people, or the water! |

Don't even see Canada on the list. https://top5ofanything.com/list/de09aa45/Countries-with-the-Most-Guns-(firearms)-Per-Capita List of massacres in Canada. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_massacres_in_Canada ... |

Don't even see Canada on the list. This bit at the bottom of of the 1st link caught my eye. 4. During an average year in the United States: 31,224 people die from gun violence. More than 100,000 of them are shot in murders, assaults, suicides, accidents or by police intervention. 12,632 people are murdered with guns. 3,067 children and teens die from gun violence. 683 children and teens commit suicide with guns. 351 people are killed by police intervention. 17,352 people kill themselves. 679 are shot and injured during police interventions. 66,768 people survive gun injuries. 613 people are killed accidently and 2,161 children and teens are murdered. As for the 2nd link, it's much smaller than the very much incomplete List of massacres in the United States. Now there's were the real shame is. ;-) Cheers. |
