OOPS! Massive Cargo Ship Becomes Wedged, Blocks Egypt’s Suez Canal
The MV Ever Given, a Panama-flagged ship that carries cargo between Asia and Europe, ran aground Tuesday in the narrow, man-made canal dividing continental Africa from the Sinai Peninsula. Images showed the ship’s bow was touching the eastern wall, while its stern looked lodged against the western wall—an extraordinary event that experts said they had never heard of happening before in the canal’s 150-year history.

Young Girls, Only 13 and 15, Charged with Felony Murder After Carjacking Turns Fatal, National Guard Involved in Arrest

From eyewitness accounts and a video caught on a cellphone, Leo said, police reconstructed what happened from there. The two girls tried to carjack Anwar by attacking him with the stun gun. A struggle ensued from there; the 13-year-old purportedly shouted, “He’s got my cellphone!”

The bad boys and girls will have a harder time running from the law in remote areas soon.
Ford Introduces All-New 2021 F-150 Police Responder with Improved Top Speed, Added Capability

Just a little teaser as what is new:
* All-new F-150 Police Responder now offers enhanced top speed of 120 mph...
* New automatic four-wheel-drive mode and torque-on-demand transfer case constantly adjusts torque to front and rear wheels as needed to improve performance and handling on dry pavement, while increasing traction on wet, slick and less stable surfaces for a more seamless transition between on- and off-road driving.

Is this:

  • Starsky and Hutch?
  • Dukes of Hazzard??
  • Blues Brothers?
  • Or just USA Downtown?

Here in the UK, we went over to using helicopters to avoid risking police officers and innocent bystanders alike from silly TV-esq car chases.

Stay safe folks!

You forget 9 out of 10 chases involve gun play over here.

I don't know that applies if they were given a little makeover.

And how high stress costly fragile is the beancounter game of gaming "just in time" supply and delivery channels...

Oh deer
Around here here you need to watch out for wallabies, kangaroos, kites (small bird), bustards, eagles, cattle, horses and as you head south there's emus, sheep, camels, goats and of course way down south wombats & the occasional deer.
Then of course you need to keep an eye out for the dumb animals that are driving other cars...
Daytime is bad enough, but it's why i avoid driving at night on rural roads.

Indeed. Beware the 'lamping/gas-lighting' effect...

Smartphone Not a Phone, Claims Samsung
Samsung has claimed its Galaxy S7 handset is not a cellphone. The attempt to take advantage of tax rules failed as a court ruled it most definitely is a phone.
