Sadly not the first time that ambulance and paramedic vehicles have had such notes on their windscreens while on emergency calls. And even those notes are the tip of a very dirty iceberg.

(And don't give that ambulance on twos and blues "the finger" if they are trying to pass, it will be sent to plod who will take "appropriate action")

Here we go again.... Fight over man's flatulence forces flight to make emergency landing

A pilot made an emergency landing after a fight broke out over a passenger who allegedly refused to stop passing gas.

Two Dutchmen sitting next to the flatulent passenger reportedly asked the man to stop, but he refused and continued to break wind aboard the Transavia Airlines flight from Dubai to Amsterdam Schiphol.

The budget airline crew allegedly did not help the passengers after their complaints, Metro reports, leading to a fight between the men. Despite a warning from the pilot, the altercation continued and forced the airplane to be diverted to Vienna Airport, where it made an emergency landing.

This really does beggar belief :-(

Too bad the ambulance wasn't for them. Then they might think differently about it. Moron.

Lucky or just good driving

A bit of both, but a good part of it of skill. Rear end broke lose, she got of the brakes to settle it down.
But WTF was the car driver doing?

And good on the van driver (dashcam operator) for getting quickly into reverse and freeing some extra space.

But unsurprisingly the car driver hasn't come forward to tell their side of the story.

Two things come to mind as this cold snap peters out tamely (thank goodness):

1) Homo Sapiens has become accustomed to travelling large (and unnecessary) distances, insulated from the natural world, as part of their daily habits.

2) Did modern commercial agriculture cause the traffic problems? I saw bare green fields on TV, with all the snow blown off - and forming a six-foot snowdrift behind the first hedge it encountered, which was invariably along the side of a road. All the other hedges have been grubbed out for the convenience of farmers. Thinking about it, I can remember roads where extra 'snow fences' were placed in fields, to catch the snow before it reached the roads and their boundaries. I haven't seen one of those for decades.

My youngest daughter said that she was over it on day 2 as she and her girlfriend trudged from 1 ancient building to the next (and that was only the bars and clubs) before they went to even more ancient places (or was that before?) like museums, castles and other weird stuff like that. ;-)

You can never tell with my youngest daughter as she's 100% (maybe a touch more) like her mum.

So if you're in London and see a slightly inebriated 24yr old curly headed Aussie blonde girl with an equally inebriated Aussie brunette girl of the same age, just point them in the direction of the next bar, pub, club or whatever and all will be well. LOL

Cheers.

My todays experiences going with a public bus.
The rule of a bus company is "Don't engage in a discussion with passengers during driving!"
Ok not so serious in most times but here a f**ng woman "discussed" with the driver for about 15 minutes.
And it's a lot of snow here now with slippery roads!
When I pushed the women aside to go outside the bus because she blocked the exit door her male companion got upset of my "rude" manner.
Yes even the driver got upset!

LOL.
When I took the bus home.
Two teenanger girls about 12 to13 old started to laughing out loud because one of them had some hickups.
Everyone in the bus smiled.
The busdriver got so upset for this misbehavour and he had to leave his driving seat and saying to the girls to leave the bus in our cold weather.
But I said to the driver to stop his misbehavour
Then the driver said to me that I also step should upside the bus because he had the right to do so.
F**ing nonsese of course because the bus driver have not read his company rules.
I have been reading the "Västrafik" rules though:)
