Message 1751267 - Posted: 23 Dec 2015, 12:45:58 UTC - in response to Message 1751113.

does it dump out your measurements each day ?

I'm not sure how the inner machinations work exactly, but it keeps track of the precipitation on a daily/monthly basis. You can watch the totals go up incrementally from .01 to .02, etc, and then at midnight the total goes into the monthly log and the daily gets reset to 0.

I think you said it records to the computer ?

It does, and you can pretty easily get it to talk to a site like Weather Underground. This is the link to mine:

Looking at the Map you might want to button up for one wet one. I know my daughter is in GA. But she is one of those that will go out in the middle of a tornato for wiped cream too. :))

Lots of rain, no whipped cream unfortunately, but then we'd be in Willy Wonka land if that was the case, ;~)

Forecast for Chrissy day = 36C.

While in the Northern Highlands we started at 14C (felt like 12C) and reached 21C (felt like 19C).

A heatwave as we beat the forecast max by 4C.

Forecast for Xmas Day here is 11-20C with more rain.

Merry Xmas everyone and I hope you all have a great New Year.

Cheers.
