Has Ollie's problem got deeper roots? A devastating report into cricket in England and Wales has revealed shocking evidence of racist and sexist abuse at all major levels. |

Pretty sure the Aussies have this 2nd test wrapped up. These muppets lost the last 3 wickets for 14 runs. It'll be a miracle if they can get a draw. |

I'm battling to stay awake to watch the battle, but I think that I'm losing it as 2am is almost here. |

It seems that I only missed about 30mins of play before that lovely English weather put an end to the day's play. |

The Aussies love stitching. Definitely have this one sewed up. Meanwhile elsewhere... ...Scotland on verge of knocking the West Indies out of the World Cup. 45 needed with 8 wickets left. |

The Poms put up a good fight, but I can have an earlier morning this morning as the Aussies take out the 2nd test. |

It looks like that damning 317-page on English cricket hasn't changed anything and it's really being reflected during the 2 tests so far. The latest Ashes controversy saw England respond in scathing fashion, but multiple examples show why their argument is null and void. While Pat Cummins has admitted Alex Carey’s controversial stumping of England batsman Jonny Bairstow in the Second Test was premeditated as experts around the world point out that the Poms outrage is unwarranted and totally without merit. I just hope that this idiotic behaviour does not continue (it was behaviour very reminiscent of MAGA RINO rallies). |

As an avid follower of cricket, Barstow was out. Everyone has their own interpretation of the spirit of the game which is where the rules apply. The over had not been called so the ball was still in play. Thankfully, controversies like this are not seen that often unlike football. Too many players stop play after shouts of handball/foul/offside/penalty while the opposition continue. Play continues until the ref blows his whistle. As for that cricket report, get rid of Elitism & see 50% of the problems disappear. It wouldn't take much longer for the other 50% to fall by the wayside. |

Even young Kiwi Brendan has been caught out by his own hypocrisy. ‘Can’t reward stupidity’: Brendan McCullum’s words come back to bite him. It's just amazing that some who are making the biggest noises are themselves just as guilty of doing the same (or similar) thing. And these only make it worse giving a lot of us the impression that the Poms are just bad losers. English press’ staggering attack on ‘pathetic’ Pat amid absurd Sandpapergate claim. Grow up you whingers. In fact if we’re talking “Spirit of Cricket”, it’s actually the preamble to the laws, which starts: |

This should've died down by now, but some Poms just keep on carrying on so more of their hypocrisy is unveiled. England’s Jonny Bairstow has become the latest player to be found out with footage from nine years ago coming back to bite him. Really? Get over it boys as I'm sure that more hypocrisy can be found. It's really showing which side isn't playing in the spirit of the game and that damning report's findings just get reinforced. Congratz to the English girls for their 3 run win on what turned out to be a very tight match. I just hope that the stupidity doesn't carry on into the start of the men's 3rd test tonight. |

I wonder what's fired up the English bowlers, sending down yorkers at over 96 mph, and Australia at 108 for 4 at lunch. |

Yep. Now 263 all out. Trust the Aussies, just have to go one better. Lost their last 4 wickets for 14. |

That was a very interesting day's play I reckon and I'm now ready for bed. |

Not bad, lost the last 4 wickets for 106. We can't keep relying on just 1 man. Bazball is not the problem, but the temperament of the players. Continuously playing silly shots... ....it's going to be an interesting 3 days. Will the Aussies take the Ashes home early? |
