Only in England.
Snatching defeat from victory.
IMV, it's looking like another "Lords" defeat on the cards after a great day 2.
England 432 all out.
Vic Marks on TMS this afternoon
"England have bowled poorly at Pujara. He's had a couple of half-volleys that he's gratefully put away. But England look as if they're searching for his wicket instead of sticking to the basics."

Was looking forward to seeing what England pulled out of the hat as it stood at: DLWL.
Unfortunately...
It's now DLWLw
...and not a ball bowled.

So what's the big deal over barehanded catches?

Cricketer roasts ‘insane’ baseball catch US can’t get over.

A barehanded catch in the Major League Baseball earlier in the week has scored rave reviews in the US but New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham has roasted the reaction.

I found it funny as well. ;-)

Neesham has long shown himself a joker as well, sharing a hilarious image when he swapped jerseys with Aussie Glenn Maxwell.
It featured the numbers 4, 6, 4, 4, 4, 6 — the result of an over when Maxwell took a liking to the Kiwi quick.
Even funnier.

I bet that this didn't go down well in some quarters.

Pakistan hammer India at T20 World Cup.

Just being beaten by Pakistan is a monumental thing, but by 10 wickets is something else again.

Cheers.

TBH, expected the same from England after they bowled the West Indies for 55 all out. :-(

Yes it's sad that 2 Aussie greats, Alan Davidson and Ashley Mallett, have recently departed this world. :-(

Oh, you meant the T20 match, well you can't win them all. ;-)

The semi's are ready. :-)
England, Australia, Pakistan & New Zealand.
The Aussies were lucky, South Africa needed to win & restrict England to <132 to knock the Aussies out (they failed but won the game).
Afghanistan needed to win to stay in contention (they lost, so India are out).
Who will make the final?

Bye bye England. 67 from just over 6 overs needed by New Zealand.
Last few overs, England blew it (NZ scored 35 from just 2 overs - won the match with an over remaining).
The best team won.

Well it's the Aussies vs. the Kiwis going for the top spot.

Cheers.

Australia chasing 173 to win their 1st T20 trophy.
If they lose it will also be New Zealand's 1st T20 trophy.
Good luck guys.

Aussies require 11 from 12.
2 good hits will do it.
Needing 4 from 8.
Done next ball.
Aussies now T20 champions.
Well done guys.

I did say that, "you can't win them all", but some wins are sweet. :-D

And now the Aussies and the Poms will be sharing a plane trip down under. :-)

Cheers.

Karma really is a "nice" b*tch.
The numpty that nearly destroyed Yorkshire Cricket Club, now has an announcement to make...
Numpty gets hit with Karma
TF I don't use Twatter.
Somebody ought to tell all numpties that in this day & age, making serious statements that they have better not have done the same themselves.
Deletion is no good as anything on the Internet will invariably ALWAYS come back to haunt them.
Gotta love Karma. :-)
Over the past 50 years, I have found one thing out...
...those shouting the loudest regarding racism are more racist than those they are shouting about.
Edited for spelling errors.

Bejeebers, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Cricket Tasmania said its former employee had not made her allegations against Paine until mid-2018 when she was charged with theft.
Another one bites the dust
Sheesh, when will people learn to use the brains between their ears rather than the minuscule one between their legs?

Ajaz Patel: New Zealand spinner becomes third bowler in Test history to take 10 wickets in an innings
Now he needs to go one better than Jim Laker who took 19 wickets in the 1956 test match against Australia.

Eileen Ash: World's oldest Test cricketer dies at age of 110
The bowler made her England debut in 1937, played seven Tests either side of World War Two and retired in 1949.

Eighty years after making her international debut, Ash rang the bell at Lord's before England's victory in the 2017 Women's World Cup final.

ECB managing director of women's cricket and former England captain Clare Connor said Ash was a "pioneer" of the sport
