I got to see the Aussies finish their 1st innings at 469, but I crashed just before the fun really started with India finishing Day 2 at 5-151 and 318 runs behind.

Well the Indians just have to put up with being runner ups for the World Test Championship this time.

The Aussie won it by 209 runs.

Was expecting an Aussie win as that was a hell of a run chase India needed.

Time for the Ashes. First story, bizarre dismissal
Watch as Harry Brook is dismissed in the most bizarre way after the ball hits his hip, bounces up and then lands on his stumps.

Saw that. Felt sorry for the guy.
Like many others, thought the decision to declare strange.
With the Aussies at 78-3 at lunch...

Great game so far.
It's all going to be on day 5. Either side can still win it.
England's overall total for the 2 innings - 666.
Hmm...

It was overly dragged out by the Poms, but the Aussies take the 1st test.

All I could ask myself at the end of the 1st test was, will he have drug or psycho tests done after it? But many others have been ripping it into him ever since over his behaviour, thought I think that he really hit a delusional low with his Wisden interview.

England’s Ollie Robinson has been mercilessly mocked over remarks he wrote following Australia’s victory in the Ashes opener.

He certainly did show what looked like a lot of racism while trying to pop his own eyes out of his head on many occasions during the test.

Many in the public eye have no idea of when to keep their mouths shut.
Meanwhile...
Can England women do what the Aussie men did?

A run chase of 268...
...looking like they're going to try for it. :-)

It's a bit of a bugger trying to get through your day there after getting through my day here I can tell you, but I may make it yet again. ;-)

LOL.
I think I'd better write 1000 lines: Must not post cricket comments while match is live.
3 wickets down already. :-(

Ouch.
With Beaumont's double century in the 1st innings, surprised she only went for 22.

Well at least I can have an early night tonight instead of an early morning tomorrow as the Aussie girls clean up the test match.
