Well the women's Ashes pretty much turned out like the men's Ashes.

Australia completed a ODI clean sweep in a dominant Ashes win over England.

Well that's Sri Lanka taken care of in 3-0 T20 series win for the Aussies.

Cheers.

Yes, very sad indeed, and only 52.

‘Cannot believe it’: Tributes pour in for Shane Warne after shock death.

While our boys are playing on sub-par pitches (I hope that it's another 20yrs before we play on them again) our girls are still going gangbusters across the ditch (where they know what a real pitch is) at the WWC.

Aussies make cricket history in thrilling Women’s World Cup win over India.

Fair dinkum there needs to be a Royal Commission into this as it's been happening far too often all over the world of late.

This England cricketer was left fuming after a freak anomaly in the County Championship robbed him of a crucial wicket.

Not looking good for that other side from down under.
New Zealand are 39 for 6 — Lunch is being taken on the 1st day.

As you might guess, Anderson and Broad are back, but it is Potts with the glory, so far.

England all out in half an hour, 9 ahead on first innings.

Thank goodness for Test Match Special on the radio - it's about the only monarchist/Jubilee free zone on British media today.

2nd day of 3rd test.
NZ 329 all out.
England were 55-6 - terrible performance.
In comes J Bairstow & new boy J Overton making his test debut.
At close of play - 264-6.
JB 130 unbeaten.
JO after making his 1st test maiden fifty, )on his way to possibly his 1st maiden century (89).

Been long time since I enjoyed a whole test series.
The current test series against New Zealand is one.
Just hope that this isn't a "flash in the pan" one.
New Zealand
329
326

England
360
94-2 (currently}

183-2 at close of play.
113 needed for the win giving a 3-0 series win.
I think the catch of the century had to be Sam Billings & a bizarre one at that.
Ball got stuck between his pads, took it out & held it up.
Edit.
Rain forecast for tomorrow. :-(
