I find it fascinating that so many good answers were given in the previous thread, saying in many ways what Rob said towards the end (expressed given our time constraints with lives outside reading and posting here), yet the OP of the previous thread trashed all earlier answers and applauded Rob's. What game was being played? Why close the previous thread and expect us all to understand his perspective when so there was so little effort on his part?

What is the sound of one hand waving?

Clapping requires the clapper to have something to strike by definition. As stated the question is nonsense.

Or is this "Philosophy" the discussion of division be zero, the violation of preconditions?

Philosophy is much like sci-fi - it's speculation, but with rules. It doesn't presume to give definitive answers. The point is simply to entertain and, hopefully, make you think.
