Mister No Name did you miss the fact that the master mind behind the Paris attack was educated where ????

Muslim refugees are Doctors , Engineers and such !!!

Muslims do have good education even if many are brain washed with the Koran and Jihadi stuff.

You may wish to look where modern Physic's started and whom wrote the first language .

You would also wish to look at what Muslims have introduced over the centuries and we have adopted

Or keep being a meat head making silly statements .I'll leave that choice for you

You are conflating Daesh with all Muslims.
I suspect that Daesh cowards are the dregs of society.
While there may be a few leaders with some education, there is no evidence that a lot of Daesh cowards are well educated.

You do make a good substitute for CLYDE in that you'll insult anyone who calls your BS.

Well if you think there all dummy's then please explain why they are winning at the moment .

The foot solders mite be grunts but not so much the Leaders

Just when we think we have won it will start up somewhere else and then go back to the first country like a see saw .

The secret to this type of tactic is the more we persecute Muslims the worse it will get .

Europe is in a lot of trouble now ....

What will Germany do now if they strike there ?

How many have come in . Will we see the Camps ! return

What will Germany do now if they strike there ?

Merkel is a tough cookie, not that far removed from our Thatcher, any atrocity in Germany will occasion a robust response I am quite sure of that.

That all depends on what you consider robust. Suggest you read up on the Constitution of Germany, specifically Article 87a.

As it currently stands, Germany can only take part in combat outside of Germany via UN Mandate or as part of a NATO alliance.

"Under German law, any military deployment abroad requires parliamentary approval, but this mission may require more than a simple parliamentary vote. The Defence Ministry fears it may require a change in the Basic Law, Germany's constitution, Bild reported quoting an unidentified ministry source.

When West Germany formed a new military for the first time since the end of the Second World War in 1955, the country placed severe constitutional limits on its use in order to prevent any future repeat of the Nazis' crimes.

Although the Bundeswehr's role has expanded and German troops have been serving abroad since 1990, it is believed that under the constitution they may only be permitted to take part in missions with an international mandate, or as part of the Nato alliance.

Lawyers have already raised doubts about the current training mission, and senior ministers are reportedly locked in discussions over whether the new deployment would be constitutional. A change to the Basic Law requires a two-thirds majority in the Bundestag, and a simple majority in the upper house".

& that will not be easy as you might think

Then I suggest that you have a read up of UN Resolution 2249 of the 20th November, where the United Nations has approved the French proposal which authorises action.

The Security Council determined today that the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant/Sham (ISIL/ISIS) constituted an “unprecedented” threat to international peace and security, calling upon Member States with the requisite capacity to take “all necessary measures” to prevent and suppress its terrorist acts on territory under its control in Syria and Iraq.

Thanks for the update, unfortunately I don't have the time to spend surfing the net that frequently, maybe when I've retired :-)

BBC latest

Lovely jubbly, so the EU open borders finally closing As well as "other" EU laws bypassed :-)

"Open borders of Schengen? Not today at Brussels Midi station-ID card or passport needed- or you don't get on the train."

"Special "smoking areas" are also being introduced within schools to prevent students from leaving the premises."

It will be "interesting" to see what other laws bypassed & all in the name of public safety.

Message 1744323 - Posted: 23 Nov 2015, 17:22:57 UTC - in response to Message 1744320.

Up to 10,000 troops could be deployed on to British streets in the event of a Paris-style attack, David Cameron has said, as he announced plans for an extra £12bn for military equipment.

The PM also said two 5,000-strong "strike brigades" would be created, as it was revealed the cost of renewing Trident could increase by £6bn. The extra spending also includes new F-35 jets and eight Type 26 frigates.

BBC

About damn time he got his act together, better late than never.

Stop dreaming laddie, it's doing you no good.

That will be 2 strike brigades cobbled together from current serving personnel. As for the equipment needed, it wouldn't have been needed if the previous SDR hadn't been so slap-dash. You yourself commented on that with regards to our Carriers & Harriers.

As for the extra spending itself, whatever happened to austere times?

Message 1744344 - Posted: 23 Nov 2015, 19:30:24 UTC - in response to Message 1744336.

The last defence spending review cancelled the "Carriers and Harriers" which was a total travesty of common sense, and nothing less than a cost cutting exercise. If I ever met Osbourne face to face, he would regret it big time I can assure you of that.

We need the two strike brigades today or tomorrow morning, not in 10 years time. It could be done on paper in 10 minutes. Private ABC, you are drafted to report to XYZ Depot at 8am tomorrow morning as part of Strike Brigade 1.

Where is the money coming from?

The number of civilians employed by the MoD is to be reduced by almost 30% by the end of the Parliament, he added.

Good. The MOD is the most incompetent part of our nations defence. They couldn't buy any spare part unless they paid 10 times more than what it was worth. Defence contractors know that and milk them all the way to the bank. But of course as expected the General Secretary's of the Prospect and RMT unions are up in arms as they can see their cushy jobs disappearing.

Also cuts to the police and welfare. This government gets it right in some areas but cocks it up on others. What they need is a watchdog over their activities. Oh look, they had that with the coalition. But what did the British public do? Behave like headless chickens because Nicola chinless wonder Sturgeon wound them up with a threat of a SNP propped up Labour Government. She is single handedly a bigger threat to the British way of life than Hitler ever was.

Jeebers, what are you trying to do? Give me a heart attack?
+100 & well deserved at that.

Now for the -'s
-10. Really? I'm a headless chicken alongside all the other UK crunchers?
-10. Comparing a current politican to Hitler? My muppets tag pales in comparison.

Still got + 80 :-)

I didn't know that the British Defence was so engaged to protect French citizens.
But I do believe that French and Belgium police can handle this by themself.
Perhaps with some help with their military.
It's not an invasion of IS soldiers going into Europe we see.

But they don't sail up river Seine to Paris to fight Daesh:)

Daesh has now lost about 10% of their territory lately.
Thats probably why we see so many terror attacks now and not only in Europe.

Right now I feel "Oh no, not again".

Not much ocean in that part of the world . All them ships off the coast of Israel and Syria .

1 mistake and we could see "A fleet of ship will be sank of the Coast of Palestine"

I hope Germany doesn't over react but then war is war !!!
