BBC Live News coverage of Paris attacks.
http://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-europe-34815972

Vive la France!

Now AFP quotes police sources as saying about 100 people have been killed in the Bataclan concert venue.

2 or 3 of the perpetrators have been killed.
But there are more of them around Paris.

A spokesperson for the Paris City Hall says to Reuters that it is about 100 deaths in the concert hall and 40 more at the other attack sites.

One official described "carnage" inside the building, saying the attackers had tossed explosives at the hostages!

What 'Reaction' can the French Nation and Military Forces commit to. Which the Jihadists, in their 'Training Camps', will respect, and make them fear the reaction of any future attack?

None.

ISIS better remember, France is a Nuclear power.

A truly dreadful, ghastly and typically cowardly attack, which can only result in retaliation in France against ordinary peaceful Muslims. The far right in France will seize on this with gusto - with some justification, too, it might be said. The people who will suffer greatest, will be the genuine refugees and in all probability, politically, Angela Merkel. This may even see the 'West' take the attitude that "my enemy's enemy is my ally" and change it's stance towards Russian actions in Syria.

ISIL, unlike the other purveyors of death, wants to put a fence and line in the sand around itself. I said earlier we should take a hands off stance until this is completed. Once it has been completed, then there is a place to send a nuke to. They can build the walls of their Alamo around themselves and we can be only to happy to martyr all of them and send them to their virgins. Otherwise they are just a big band of criminals that you have to chase down one at a time, like the mafia, and it is never ending as they sprout as fast if not faster than you can chase them down.

Oh I'm sure a target could be found, ISIS is trying to be a state, that makes them a target, intelligence services could find them, that is their job.

The things I'm hearing is that those involved spoke French and shouted Muslim slogans in French, so the attacks are domestic to France, possibly some who are not of French descent, who are not allowed to be a French citizen, yet are allowed to live and work in France, that is what I read once, there are areas outside Paris where people who aren't citizens live, who might have some hiding among them without knowing someone is in hiding, who might be guilty. Me I'm of French ancestry, I'd just need to be able to speak and I'd think read and write in French to be a Citizen of the French Republic(I'd done some research on this once). Oh and I don't think those who live in France and who aren't citizens are all guilty, a few maybe.

Hitler and his men where Criminals and so is DAESH . Hitler took the world to WAR and so is DAESH , don't think people are going to object to "BOOTS ON THE GROUND" now .

I just hope it's not our freedoms that suffer and they start taking the problem more serious , time for "boots on the ground " to stop this madness .

Today I'm a Parisian and tomorrow too

We are dammed if we do and dammed if we don't , there winning at the moment , bombs dropped from the sky won't defeat them , Hitler learnt that the hard way .

I think we can defeat them if we put "boots on the ground" the problem is what happens then ??

It will only start back up if the country's infrastructure is not fixed and security for the locals is not good .

I think if we wait to much longer other events may take over , from the South China Sea to Israel becoming involved more in it and if either of then things become involved then "KISS YOUR ASS GOODBYE" End of Days stuff starts

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has expressed his condolences to French parliamentarians in connection with the attacks in Paris taking the opportunity to make his own case in the process!

"What France suffered from savage terror is what the Syrian people have been enduring for over five years," he was quoted as saying by Syrian state media.

I don't think the agenda of these terrorist groups has any direct connection to the living conditions in the countries they come from. It stems purely from the political views of the twisted faith of their Islamist leaders. They have misused the values of their faith to stir up hate for all of the western countries and a special hate for Jews. I doubt that any acts of good will from the west would make them go away. Maybe a strong united declaration by the true religious leaders of Islam that what they are doing is not in accord with the true teachings of the Koran and actions to back that position up would dissuade some of the newly recruited members of their organizations from participation but I doubt it. The 21st century cannot tolerate a throwback to the early days of Islam and the barbaric methods of the dark ages. But as long as moderate Islamists tolerate and help to hide those who plan these attacks and send their young followers on suicide missions any retaliation will result in large numbers of casualties of innocent people within the muslim community.

I doubt that western leaders will have the stomach to carry out an effective scourge of the terrorist community.

The agenda is to restore the Caliphate.
But which? There have been 21 of them in history.
The last one was Qajar (1779-1924) in Iran.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caliphate

Retaliation seems to be mission impossible to me.
It will only backfire.
One of the problems is that there are several international "network" with very many small cells.
In Paris a perpetrator had a Syrian passport.
Further a passport found in connection with one of the dead perpetrators that was an Egyptian, according to BFM TV. The document is being checked.
A suicide bomber from the Bataclan should have been identified. It should be a Frenchman and was previously known by the security police, according to BMFtv.

Iran is Shia, ISIS is Sunni(pronounced: SueKnee), dead terrorist might be European and a so called Christian, from a far right extremist party, maybe.

Now this

TGV crash

What has that got to do with the Paris attack? Are you suggesting it wasn't an accident?

These religious fanatics, no matter the religion, remind me of a two year old having a temper tantrum when the world isn't doing what they want. The issue is they have access to guns and bombs. They are not adult and they do not act adult. They are crazy, as judged by adult standards, and need to be locked up as crazy; for whatever reason(s) they never developed into functional adults capable of being allowed the freedom to wander in society. They are incapable of any tolerance.

They have great frustration that others will not do as they say. They are frustrated that their children reject their religion and listen to western ideas. That has even been posted about elsewhere in politics where, in the US, the youth are rejecting religion. It seems to be world wide.

These fanatics can not stand the thought of their perfect religion being rejected for a different idea, or that this different idea is thriving and they are not. That makes them wonder if maybe their religion isn't perfect but then they go into denial and act out this conflict in their personality with a suicide tantrum.

I suspect that this planet has now begun to learn enough science that perhaps by the end of the next century, religion will be the exception and atheism will be the rule. Perhaps then ET will have seen us progress enough to send us a signal. Assuming we are able to survive and don't nuke ourselves out of existence.
